In Thailand time moves very quickly, 14 years is a big distance for a Hotel.
Much Hotels i stayed, have sunk in a short time, No maintenance ist a Special problem of LoS.
This Resort is really something special.

This place looks absolutely wonderful! Always good to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the big city, and relax and unwind back to nature. You’re usually an easy going and chilled-out person, but you looked VERY relaxed there at the end! I’m sure you guys had an amazing time.
Your receptionist / guest relations officer was a star! There is nothing quite like Thailand’s warm and welcoming hospitality.

Another great video,can I please as is Lazy day resort better or seavana,and what are the prices,I only ask as only had a few hours on Koh Mak then we went to Koh kham .We have decided to stay on Koh mak for a few days then Koh kood so seen your videos and love then as always.Just wanted to know a little bit about the resorts.

Sure it is more relax than many other places but at that beach towards center north, or south, south-west it more turisty and not so relax.
The important part is to stay away from the big resort on the north-east part of the island...it's just bad and dirty.
I did land there and even 2 thai woman checked out 15 minutes after checking in.
I then did go to a place south-west with bungalows directly at the beach that was ok.
I did get like blisters there and i never knew what it really was. Some thai people said sand flees, others said it's insect bites from the bed but it took almost 2 weeks to disappear.
I didn't go to Koh Kut because they told me it's the same as Koh Maak just more expencive.
Apart that, it was the end of march when the lockdowns started and i had more worries for the plane back to my country instead of going "deeper" in Thailand.

I like these getaway series Jeroen. Stunning pictures. And hopefully there is some cooler sea breeze on the islands. I fly to BKK this Monday again and l already mentally prepared myself again for the heat 😅 Past March was still doable.
