There's no incentive to collect anything. Looking at the shop shows exactly where SDS wants players to end up
I have loved this game for years but for me, gotta be a D mid term score this year - not enough programs, fresh legends or inventive content. Almost saved by NL Storylines, which has included some great new stadiums; I agree though that the cards should be rated higher than a 85. And the Jeter Storylines had a gaping A-Rod shaped hole in it. I also hope the All Star content is good as millions dropping out is not good for the game moving forward.
The problem with the show is if anyone is talking about it all they talk about is diamond dynasty. That’s all you have to offer is cards and fantasy baseball. Sim players really don’t give a crap about fantasy baseball. How about more focus and effort into career mode and franchise that keeps ppl interested. Notice how everyone excited about college football is talking dynasty mode? Quit making games solely focused on ppls wallets and focus on your game
Also quit with the 120 ratings and etc. make it max 99 like games have always been. It’s more rewarding and more realistic
This might be the best comment I’ve seen. MVP Baseball 2005 had an owner mode that allowed you to build a team and stadium from scratch if the show had a mode like that I think it would do really well. Not that franchise isn’t good, it just feels flat.
SDS needs some sort of mode for the average offline grinder that gives us a reason to jump on every day. I played MUT for 320 days this year because there were daily, weekly and seasonal rewards to play for. I finished the little bit that came on Wednesday and don’t have anything to do until the 12th. Like I said, I’m not much into Ranked, BR, and events.
@@smoothsmitty67 - I’m an offline grinder too and it’s been a poor year compared to 21 and 22 in particular. Like you say there are weeks where nothing drops and there is nothing to do. So many people must have moved on to or been distracted by other games by now.
Mlb the show 25 better be next gen only and amazing gta 6 comes out next year lol
