    Video Description:
    Vitamin B1 (thiamin) is vital for neurological functions, with benodin being most effective for preventing neuropathy in pre-diabetes or diabetes. It's found in various foods. Benodin is a synthetic B1 form that offers better nerve cell absorption, reduces inflammation, improves insulin sensitivity, and protects against glucose damage, with a recommended daily dose of 500-600 mg twice a day.
    Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) is an antioxidant essential for energy conversion and nerve cell repair. R alpha lipoic acid is the only effective form, naturally occurring in the body and some foods. Avoid S alpha lipoic acid or RS alpha lipoic acid. To ensure you get the right ALA, check for R alpha lipoic acid on the supplement facts panel. Neuriva CM Gold provides the therapeutic dose of 600 mg of R alpha lipoic acid for effective nerve support.

She’s all problems and does nothing to help herself nor does her doctor who needs to be fired. She won’t listen to anything I have to say yet we had all the same types of symptoms pain and issues being hypersensitive n emotional. Most mainstream Doctors don’t know about nutrition and their way depletes your body. Magnesium is what your brain n muscles need for anxiety n brain function. N most of America is running on caffeine n chemicals that stress out your entire nervous system!! Support the nervous system and spine!!!

    I just ordered the brand Life extension R-lipoic acid it only has this form not the S form it costs $28.00 to $38.00 per bottle depending on the seller. Doctors best R-lipoic acid is another good one and is in a similar price range. I also take 300mg of benfotiamine twice daily. Diabetes sucks it is miserable the blood testing and diets and high cost buying and taking supplements to help with this condition .

    How to avoid the paradoxical effect of benfothiamine ?

    • @musicofnote1
      @musicofnote1 Před 6 měsíci

      which is .... ? I know of the paradoxical effect of B6:
      Vrolijk MF, Opperhuizen A, Jansen EHJM, Hageman GJ, Bast A, Haenen GRMM. (2017) The vitamin B6 paradox: Supplementation with high concentrations of pyridoxine leads to decreased vitamin B6 function. Toxicol In Vitro. 2017 Oct;44:206-212. doi: 10.1016/j.tiv.2017.07.009. Epub 2017 Jul 14. PMID: 28716455.
      „In conclusion, the present study strongly indicates that the neuropathy observed after taking a relatively high dose of vitamin B6 supplements is due to the vitamer that is used in the supplements, namely pyridoxine. The inactive form pyridoxine competitively inhibits the active pyridoxal-phosphate. As a consequence, the paradox arises that the symptoms of vitamin B6 supplementation are similar to those of vitamin B6 deficiency. Vitamin B6 supplements are used by a large number of people. The safety of vitamin B6 is debated and recently EFSA has lowered the upper limit for vitamin B6. The question is whether lowering the safe dose for vitamin B6 is the solution. Remarkably, even at relatively low dose, vitamin B6 supplementation has given rise to complaints. Our study indicates that the toxicity of vitamin B6 is not only determined by the dose, but by the vitamer in which it is taken. Perhaps it might be better to replace pyridoxine by pyridoxal or pyridoxal-phosphate as vitamin B6 supplements, which are much less toxic. In this way, the vitamin B6 paradox may potentially be prevented.“

    I know that Lipid-soluble thiamine precursors have a much higher bioavailability than genuine thiamine and therefore are more suitable for therapeutic purposes. However, as I understand it, Benfotiamine does not benefit the brain.
    For that reason I’d like to bring up the form of Thiamine that I've been taking for some time now: Thiamine Tetrahydrofurfuryl Disulfide (also known as fursultiamine), which is the disulfide derivative of thiamine Brand name ‘Thiamax’ contains this highly-bioavailable derivative of thiamine (vitamin B1) called TTFD. This form has been widely researched in Japan for its therapeutic potential in addressing thiamine insufficiency.
    Can you please comment on any benefits or disadvantages in treating neuropathy compared to Benfotiamine. Brain neuron benefits plus some additional peripheral nerve benefits too perhaps.

    Hello! I am very grateful for all your work.
    I hope you can answer my question.
    I order all the ingredients in your formula separately, making sure they are the same. when taking it. I pee fluorescent green as if my body was rejecting the vitamins. I made sure they were the same vitamins as your formula, am I doing something wrong?
    In a scale of 1 to 10 in pain, mine is 1 to 2 , with spikes peripheral neuropathy. Some times in finger tips, some time in legs, and head under hair, it ocurs at random times of day.
    My diet is mainly protein and fat with 1 o 2 meals a day with intermitent fasting.
    Thanks for your labor. ❤️

    What about if you suffer from GERD ? Will it worsen ?

    • @BacknRC
      @BacknRC Před 5 měsíci

      I have personally had gerd reduced after taking thiamine. Most gerd and reflux is result of TOO LOW stomach acid. When your acid is low your upper valve stays open and you get burning. When the PH of your stomach increases, the valve closes and gerd/reflux go away. Thiamine helps to increase acid to normal/proper levels. I was amazed at realizing that the reflux I had for years, was gone after a few weeks of taking Thiamine.

    Is R-Alpha-Lipoic Acid the same as R-Lipoic Acid

    • @NerveDoctors
      @NerveDoctors  Před měsícem +1

      Great question and this most certainly is a confusing topic. They are slightly different molecules with some overlapping interactions. However, Lipoic acid is found to be more powerful in cardiac issues and in dealing with ROS and cell senescence. R-Alpha Lipoic Acid is the form necessary to address neural degeneration and nerve damage.

      Nerve pain in people with diabetes (diabetic neuropathy). Taking 600-1800 mg of alpha-lipoic acid by mouth or by IV seems to improve symptoms such as burning, pain, and numbness in the legs and arms of people with diabetes. Lower doses of alpha-lipoic acid don't seem to work.

    Unequivocally, I will say that Benfotiamine will NOT help with nerve pain. My daughter has diabetes and TAKES Benfotiamine, but beyond that, she ALSO has nerve pain that is NOT CONNECTED to the Diabetes. So, it does not work on her nerve pain. As far as the R-ALA, I don’t have a clue about that.

    Question for red light therapy. I bought a small cheap panel off Amazon with the correct numbers 660nm and Near Infrared 850nm Light Combo, also its 45W, 225 LEDs. Question is how do I know if its actually working or is this just bright red lights that do nothing? I also bought a TENS unit, trying everting for my feet. Just dont want to be wasting my time with the redlight panel, the TENS units is easy to know if it at least works because you can feel the electricity.

In this Video again Around 3 Mins 26 Seconds Dr tells that Benfotiamine is Synthetic. Actually Thiamine is Synthetic. Confused!! 😀
