One point to note at 8:24, the name of the data (PDU : for Protocol Data Unit) is not always called packet, it actually depends on the layer we refer to. Application layer : it's called data or message. Transport layer : depends on which transport protocol we use ( if we are using TCP, data becomes segment, if we use UDP : it's called datagram ) Netwotk layer : we talk about packets. Data link layer : wa call it frame. Physical layer : we normally say bits. Thanks for the efforts guys !
