AVGO is another of my smaller positions. I bought during the April dip. From what I hear, there's a possible concern stemming from the VMware acquisition, since they seem to be raising prices for those customers. I wonder if the price increases are making up for the customers they are losing because of them. It might be a prudent move, since I imagine a significant number of customers were likely moving to cloud service providers anyway.

I would say there will be huge increase in Broadcom stock price right after the earnings which will take its price to 1600 $ usd
What's the catalyst? Why do you expect them to crush earnings?
@@jonschlottig9584 1-they remained silent during the year, out of news or attention. 2-nothing wrong with the company`s earnings or CEO. 3-Their products are great and create new things making a change and AI is in high demand currently. 4-they have popular customers like meta, apple, google ect..5- I expect, such companies may announce a new plan or a new product just before the earning which will improve the earning outcome.6-The technical analysis in the chart looks great.

I just do not know, why Broadcom acquired VMware (knowing exactly what VWware is doing) I cannot imagine how VMware fits into Broadcom s core business and goals, other than getting their licence numbers - can anyone help out?
