This machine is terrible-- kind of a Rube Goldstein contraption. Its complexity should allow it to be used for all kinds of situations and yet all it does is create reasons why it wont work in most situations-- at least not without significant custom procedures. Most of the locks I install have trim plates longer than the 17cm max that the machine can do, and really it cant go beyond 16cm or the bolt on the depth adjustment hits the slide rail. If you are lucky enough to have a large number of locks that happen to fall within the abilities of this machine, then you will find it convenient, but for one offs, the amount of time wasted to setup the unit only to discover its limitations is just a waste. Limited customer support and a manual full of errors, and the dust collection is not as effective as the video portrays. What are you going to do the mortise the strike plate? Save your money for a router and some sharp chisels.
We've roughly sold 350+ Lock Mortisers and you are the first customer to ever say such words.. maybe you should reconsider where you studied your craft.. Please keep your nasty comments to yourself.
