Grew up with the Turkish airliens in the uk, my mum is from the uk but my dad is from east turkey and we always used Turkish airliens from Manchester. 14 now and still love travelling with family on it
When I came back to Birmingham airport it was ridiculously packed and couldn’t get my luggage’s and hand luggage’s but Istanbul airport had music painting nice foods everything!!.

Hi there zane! I am 15 too and am taking my first turkish airlines flight to istanbul next summer (its a while away but i get excited!) I was wondering with the meals are they inclusive with economy or do you have to pay separately on board? Thanks!
My first and only flight on Turkish airlines wasn’t that pleasant. I feel the seats in economy were not that good, they don’t have any snacks for Long flight nor can you buy anything either.. They lost my luggage and didn’t get it till 2 days later, food was just ok, portion was just ok as well. Flight on the way home was delayed 90minutes as well
yeah but look on that terminal 3 disaster . and the lifts all over such a bad design and idea. Regardless the transformation those lifts remaining same. @@flyzane

Did all apps work on the WiFi? Like WhatsApp, Snapchat and instagram?!
Yes. Once connected all of the apps on my phone worked
If I check in online before arriving at airport, can I have special lanes to wait for baggage drop?
Yes, I managed to do check in online the night before my flight and I was able to wait in a separate queue at the airport which was much quicker

I'm looking for some clarity here.. are you allowed to take a rolling carry-on luggage and a personal bag (like a laptop bag) on the plane with you?
It usually depends on the airline. Most full service airlines would allow it whilst most budget airlines would only allow you to take a backpack.
Not as big as you thought they would be? lol it’s a 3 hour flight and aircraft meal!

It is in need of a bit of renovation. However it is part of the airport’s transformation programme so it is set to close for renovation this year
