Capitol Policeman John Cale has just been denied his dream job with the Secret Service of protecting President James Sawyer. Not wanting to let down his little girl with the news, he takes her on a tour of the White House, when the complex is overtaken by a heavily armed paramilitary group. Now, with the nation's government falling into chaos and time running out, it's up to Cale to save the president, his daughter, and the country.

That is a m1 Abrams, the rpg would’ve bounced harmlessly off the side of it lmao
The rocket hit the under side of the hull and track. The under hull has very little armor, and tracks are not armored, a rocket or explosive would destroy the track. And no, the rocket would not have bounced off the side of the tank, the M1's reactive armor would have activated on impact. If the rocket had hit anywhere else on the hull, the crew would very likely still be alive.
Actually it would not have. If it was armor piercing it would have caused damage just not that much. That was one of the biggest threats in Iraq. We lost 7 to AP RPGs hits. One was a total loss. The rest had to be towed out. We also lost a Bradley to an AP RPG. Took the entire thing completely out . Luckily the driver and Commander got out but both where severely wounded.

It depends where it hits.
The tank was rearing up as it climbed the wall, exposing the lower glacis.
It's composite armour, so designed to resist HEAT rounds (which is what they fired at it)
So it depends exactly which generation of RPG-7 warheads they were using, newer ones would, older ones wouldn't.
However, it also exposes the tanks floor, which is, as far as I know, just a sheet of steel

For a seal team to have entered anywhere close to intact is unrealistic. Opfor has good defense set up and are on alert and i doubt they'd have previous training for this scenario. But it's an entertaining movie

Adding to the fact that there were 2 other Abrams, so even if we that there a modified RPG potent enough to take out an Abrams, were the other 2 MBTs just dummies?
take an RPG to engage an Abrams head on ? Well I guess that must be an RPG-99999999 to have such a devastating power to penetrate it. Also did the tank shoot a paper ball to the roof of the white house ? how in the world is that shot not even kill a single stuff ? All these movies just look.... ridiculous.

I dont get why his daughter screamed after the RPG hit the limo, they set up early that she knows alot so she should know her dad is fine since hes driving a damn house almost
To be fair, knowing that a car is heavily armored and seeing the car your dad is in explode in a big fireball are two very different things. Not many people think rationally in that kind of situations, not even considering the hostage situation she was in before and having a gun aimed at her.

Hundreds of national guard rifle men and 3 Abrams vs 4 guys with a rpg on a roof, never thought the guys on the roof would stand a chance. Like just lay suppressive fire at the roof, have the Abrams move forward to clear the fence, and deploy smoke to cover the advance of the infantry. I know its Hollywood but come on

This movie was a joke, and Channing would be more respected now if he didn't do this film.
An RPG 7V cannot accurately hit an M1A2‘s lower front plate from that far and then cause a blowout LMAO who wrote this script.
