Bought my 17 used online and the crappy dealer pictures didn't show that it had a 6 inch lift. Same kit. Was really pissed when it got delivered because I was hoping to downsize from a RAM with a 3 inch kit but the truck was a full 6 inches higher even on stock wheels. 🤣 But now I love it. I live in snow country and with the lift kit it's just unstoppable. We've got 3 feet on the ground and probably another 2 feet coming before spring and I fear nothing. I'll throw chains on all 4 wheels and tear through unplowed roads with no place to turn around without a care in the world, and I haven't even cleaned up the exhaust yet. Engine is completely stock. Tires are stock width and cheap. People say diesels are too heavy to get around in the snow. This one definitely breaks that rule.
You are running 37s correct? Do you have any issues with death wobble now between 45-55mph? I’m running them on mine, have fab tech dirt logic 6” coils in the front and brand new tires that were balanced and mounted and I’m still getting wobble at those speeds. Are you running a steering stabilizer at all?
I'm wanting to lift my 19 xd Cummings also , what's the worst part of the lift and what would you do different , I know you said the coils struts but what did you do to get this in easier
It wasn't too difficult, definitely get the drill bits you need in advance, read directions thoroughly in advance, get small ratchet straps and finally check the condition of your ball joints, tie rods and cv axles before hand so you can do everything at once if they need to be replaced
@K Bridges I might take it on , I have other vehicles so I could take my time with it and have a car lift in my garage, trucks almost got 30k on it so I'll check all the joints but they should be good. How much different is the handling you have now ?
@@jaycevessier7554 I don’t remember the size but I think it’s 285/65/20R..! Sorry I didn’t want to look stupid as I already have in my last post about it.!
That's very strange, all the titans I've lifted (which is 3) got much better after. If I had vibration, i would consider the following. Maybe your tires are in need of replacement, or maybe they aren't the best quality, or maybe the shocks are faulty, this is testable by someone else watching the truck as it drives to see if one tire is jumping too much or it could be (and this would be my guess) Traction bars, if you don't have them they are absolutely necessary, the fact that they don't come with all lift kits is crazy to me, outside of that it's either install error or maybe the 2023 lift kits aren't up to standard. In any case, good luck with it, and I hope it at least looks cool, lol
I was thoroughly entertained. Thank you Mr. Bridges.

My son used this as a tutorial video

My son agrees. Very annoying
what tune are you running your titan at?
I ran the 3 inch lift by rough country and it is plenty high enough, had to do a little trimming for the stock wheels 🛞.
Yeah but what size tires? I’m wanting to run 37’s on stock 20’s so 6” is the only way
@@jaycevessier7554 I got 31 x 12.50 ridge grapplers
@@lanesheram9054 I really hope you’re not running a 31” tire on a 3” lift. So you’re basically running stock size tires?

What were the torque specs on the U-boats?
Always
