Omg! Just literally came out of the theaters after watching this...and awesome movie!!! I cried happy tears. Great character-driven storyline, amazing Manila backround, cinematography, musical scoring and perfect chemistry of Toni and Piolo. Not the typical Pinoy movie, but that's what's great about it, that Star Cinema, the leading movie production house in the Philippines is open to telling stories, and showing different perspectives about life, love, struggles and the Pinoy experience, albeit sometimes in quirky or modern ways. I love my rom-com drama teleserye type movies, but this one touched my heart and left a mark that recent Pinoy movies haven't done in awhile. Kudos to you Star Cinema!!

This trailer was really good in not revealing the whole story that I actually went back and watched the whole movie since I was so curious. THIS MOVIE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND GAVE SUCH HUGE PLOT TWISTS.

I honestly don't know kung bakit linelabelan nila ang indie as good quality kaysa sa mainstream. Yung contents ng mainstream ngayon, gumaganda na at maraming realizations at life lessons ang itinuturo. Kaya para sa akin, pantay na lang sila. Tanggalin na natin ang label, basta pelikulang Pilipino suportahan natin. Pagsisisihan nyo ang hindi pagtangkilik sa sariling atin.

Kung hindi mo pa napapanood ang movie na 'to, you should watch it. It has a very good story, unexpected plot twist, and you will definitely learn lessons.
To be honest, I don't get it why other people who watched it na is they don't like it. Because this film gives more meaning and how important life is. And even if wala kang jowa or you're nbsb, masakit siya dai, tumatagos hanggang buto yung sakit.
I hope this film will get it's enough, deserved attention and recognition.

What a wonderful plot.
If i am not mistaken, patay na po ang character ni Toni G. sa movie. She died during that scene sa bridge yung nakasabit siya, tyempong dumating si Piolo (na nag'a'attempt din na magpakamatay that time coz of the death of his wife). As what I have seen, hindi pa nila kilala yung isa't isa sa bridge. Piolo might have seen Toni na nakasabit and he failed to help her, thus, causing him mental illness. (Yung hallucinations.. delusions.. etc)
Due to his conscience.. his brain created an image of Toni, to cope up with the tragedy of his life. Defense mechanism kasi yan paminsan ng mga mentally-illed patients. Toni's imaginary self is trying to help Piolo na maka'recover sa depression na knalalagyan niya.
As what I have observed, may dalawang eksena (yung may bigote si Piolo and mukhang madungis) yung yung time na depressed siya and still trying to cope up with his current state (that line "feeling ko, may nagawa akong tama") suggests the loneliness and the guiltiness he felt during that bridge part and the death of his wife. And that part na he's neatly shaved suggests that he's slowly recuperating and that's because of the help of Toni.
This is such an interesting movie. I'm happy that Filipino mainstream movies are slowly changing for the better. I hope this will continue.
By the way, I'm not saying na tama po yung conclusion ko. Will definitely gonna watch this movie, alone. 😍😍😍 Can't wait!

i've seen this before and i loved the movie, the story is amazing that it will hook you till the end, ( i cried the frist time i saw this).. then Nov.1.2023, my mother is browsing channels, when i saw this film on C1 and i told my nanay na maganda ung movie, so we watched it.. me for the 2nd time and nanay ko first time.. my mother cried.. ( i know the story, yet na hook pa rin ako), then nalaman ko na si Bela padilla pala screen writer nito! iba ung husay! mabibilang mo na lang sa daliri ang ganito kagandang pelikula na maganda ang storya, and toni with piolo is really an amazing feat! 5/5 ⭐s #mustwatch

They might be suicide buddies attempting to do it multiple times pero palaging nag fa-fail. Piolo probably lost his wife and Toni might have suffered from a terrible experience that led her to do this.
"Last attempt. Pag di pa natin nagawa 'to maghihiwalay na tayo."
Toni is talking about their last attempt to kill themselves. If they fail again, like how they did many times before, they would go separate ways.
"Magbihis ka ng pang-date, magbibihis din ako."
They're trying to make themselves feel better. They want to experience--happiness, maybe? or atleast feel special--before they die.
They've probably learned to love each other and realize the beauty of life that might result to the other person wanting to back out.
This is also a reach but Toni might have killed herself first, when she was running on the bridge while crying. Some unknown event might've led her to do this kaya hindi na niya hinintay si Piolo and she did it on her own. Piolo, at the end, was devastated and was also planning to continue the suicide attempt.

They attempted suicide(on the last scene) pero epic fail kasi nasabit lang sa something like kable si toni and then piolo helped her. Since the attempt was an epic fail, they decided to do it again together (pool scene). But on the process of ending their lives, they found meaning through each other, so they fall in love and live happily ever after.
