This thing was meant to be an anti air cannon, and it works fine for that role, but seems to me like they accidentally made a weapon for stripping parts. Just shoot over well protected weapons and rip them off easily. It's not busted, it's not trash, it's balanced

A near-miss gun!! Holy fuck is that my kind of weapon! This 6 energy weapon puts the 11 energy Thrysus to absolute shame. Energy/cost to damage output I think it's one of the worst, underwhelming weapons in the game. With a +1 energy gen, you can have two starfalls for the one Thrysus. I'm 5-6 levels off getting my Starfall, can't wait, in fact I'd rather get a 2nd of these than the Dove minelayer. With a close proximity autocannon my kill average is going to go up! 6 of these on a Levi, I think would be utterly monstrous!! Aww! 10 minutes more footage later and I would have seen myself. Get the purple visor neutrino . And stay as still as you can at really long range with this weapon . . To you it looks like your in the face of the enemy . But to them you are so far away they only see you as a tiny target . . . This weapon has MASSIVE spread when your moving . But if you stay still it tightens up Really nice and you can land all your hits
Although, the damage in general is embarrassing for a yellow tier, I find it acceptable, because the explosion perk does seem to cover a decent area, as well as the perk basically making the hitboxes of your opponents 1m bigger.
Nah. Catalina still better, cause of how much the starfalls can do with that insane damage bonus. I have two of them, and I have managed to cram them together onto the same Oma on a horrifying driftwedge car. You start the game as a long-range harasser support. Once you've built your damage to 5-6 stacks, you become a hover-hunting high-speed murderer. Hit me up and I'll share the build. The only downside is that as good as the gun handling on the Falls is, they would do better laid out in a line rather than side to side. But then you can't get them on the same oma, and that oma can't protect your cab and gen and whatnot...
People don't realize that it's 6 energy but that's not the problem..it is but It's. that..and also that it does the same damage as a threm.. A special rarity damage gun. Thats crazy. And really it's kinda trash. It Going against just 2 cyclones and someone using 2 starfalls. Keeping in mind that Cyclones DPS is way higher than star falls and only take 5 instead of 6. I'm js but that's all facts. Happy trails wasteland
I really enjoy using these in the air . And raids are fun, but i feel the direct damage is very weak . . It heavily relies on missing the target so the perk activates . . Then its V STRONG . . I would be happier if they buffed it so direct damage is 50% stronger but misses boost power by 50% instead of 100%
So, it seems that it doesnt deal more damage by itself, it just registers as it you were shooting one bullet to every part in the explosion. Of course, that means "more hits", so more damage is taken, explosions are about sending shrapnel everywhere anyways
I think these near miss weapons are kinda "meh". Like the other one... forget it's name because it's literally that forgettable... shoots Photon missiles that explode bigger when they strike the ground. Utter garbage. This one is slightly less garbage, but still garbage tier. It's fighting in the same weapon rarity as the Athena, Nothung, Arbiters, Cyclones, etc... like it's way down the list of legendaries I'd pay for. And I paid for 2 of them. Wish I hadn't.

Unfortunately the perk shot doesn't deal more damage then direct fire. (Altho it REALLY should) it just damages a wider area hitting more parts 😢

You should try pairing it with 2 machine guns. I just open up and the mgs hit exactly where I aim and Starfall misses sometimes which pumps damage 😂
I have one with 2 mg 13s , and the whalerr cab, averter and fin whale engine
That gun is even nastier with a harpy. I've destroyed numerous players in PvP with harpy Starfall combo.

The connection pattern on it, is HUGE, compared the 2 other cannons Like it.
