As I am watching my mind is spinning with ideas to blend the vent in without blocking it, and I am excitedly waiting to see what you come up with. I love fairy houses! I never thought of doing a whole village!
@@titi4112 I was thinking of wrapping the outside with moss.
@@makersunify I had similar thoughts, painting the inside of the mouth mossy green or brown (some color that similar to what you do, so it's not stark white and standing out), wrapping the top in moss. And if you or your neighbors have any of that decorative bark mulch, that's used in garden beds. Some that has been out in the sun and is bleached and old looking. (I guess you could use new bc it would eventually get old) And put that around the outside of the base so it looks like another tree in your forest.
If you don't want it to be permanent. You can get some mesh or something moldable and put that around the pipe and glue the wood to that.
@@titi4112I haven’t decided if this will stay out for the winter. I know it will get weathered, but I also think it would look cute with a dusting of snow. Maybe I’ll at least paint it to match the siding. That way if I remove the village for the winter, I don’t have to remove the moss from the pipe.
I think he wanted to see what fun stuff is happening in the house without him! 🎉
