Harvey is clearly lying. He was the one in Habbs' room and kept checking up on her. Tiff was there and saw that Habbs wasn't flirting. He knew that he was the one who was inappropriate and wanted to tell emily his side before the truth came out. I dont get why emily would choose to believe him when the evidence shows that he's being dishonest. He deliberately kept information from her to make him look good and when this was brought to light, she still chose to trust him. She even found out that he was criticizing her to habbs but continued to be on his side. Guys like Harvey are the type who think the waitress is flirting with them just because they smile at him. Jamie isn't perfect but he's definitely better than Harvey so why would habbs be interested in him? His ego is massive. Harvey is boring and he's creating drama as attempt to be interesting.

I think he's overly cautious in protection of his relationship with Emily. And read Habbs familiarity as Emily might have interpreted it if she were present. But for Habbs, she really should have known better than to get that familiar with an ex that is fully in a relationship with someone she treated quite badly over the relationship. She had to have known there was no easy way back to fixing things with him before fixing things with Emily. Cmon now Habbs.
