Gears 1-3 had an insane storyline and it really made you connect with the characters. So losing dom hurt more than anyone who never played gears will ever know, seeing him again definitely pulled some emotions out too
Absolutely, really pulled on our heart strings and they knew exactly what they were doing with the Mad World tune over the trailer as well… everything came rushing back! 😢
man Growing p playing gears 1-3 in my teens. I always wondered how they would create a Gears of war set in the past. Yet 15 years later here we are and it looks really really good coming from that cinematic. I need pinching big time. ya beat I'm gonna be playing this.
All fans that grew up with those Gears games is going to return to this game seeing and playing a young Marcus with the chemistry and brotherhood between Marcus and Dom, a bond that truly can’t be broken! It’s going to open those flood games and bring back all of those emotions, memories and nostalgia

The drones are extremely tuff in CQC and can easily overpower multiple cog soldiers so a young Marcus even a prime Marcus will still be at a disadvantage against that monster 😂Did you see that thing lift him into the roof but yet again we did see Dom pull him up with one arm so maybe Marcus is like 5 stone haha 😅
Yeah that’s a good observation actually 😂 that dude was destroying Marcus, he was pretty brutal and intense to see! This looks like it’s going to be a very dark Gears title as we watch our boy Marcus, rise up
Easy to forget that E-Day is when Locust are at their prime, even the drones. Not years into an apocalyptic war where both sides are arming just about anyone they can.
Halo 1-3, Mass Effect 1-3 and Gears of War 1-3, in that order, was basically my childhood. I know Mass Effect 3 was controversial, but I loved it. Ending was maybe a little weird but hey, it's hard to end perfection and I personally didn't hate it nearly as much as others. To me, those 3 trilogies are still the best trilogies in gaming. Hell, Halo is my favorite trilogy out of anything and everything
Absolutely bud, I have went back to Halo 1 was so many times over the years with different friends completing it in co-op. I’m still yet to actually complete Mass Effect 3 (absolutely loved the first two though)
Me and a buddy recently completed the Gears 1 Ultimate Edition on Hardcore and currently going through Gears 2.. I think we are going through the Trilogy gradually
I’ve never been a fan of a game franchise until Gears of War came out and I’ve been hooked from the first to the third game. In all the years I’ve been playing video games this one hit me right in the feels and I’m not afraid to admit that. I will definitely be playing this game first thing when it comes out. Marcus and Dom brothers to the end

Doms death hit soooo hard even years later of replaying the old trilogy I want a remaster but the pain of replaying it in 4k definitive trilogy remastered ile cry the pain would be worse thus trailer hit hard

Gears ended after 3 for me, just like halo ended after 3. Im so down for eday going back to the origins.
I agree gears 4 5 and when 6 comes is just a spin off ile cry if they kill Marcus's in gears 6 after all the shit he went through gears of war is finished at gears of war 3 with a very satisfying myrrah death with doms knife stabbed into her guts that's for dom and everyone else you killed you bitch best ending in the game
Same bud, I still played them all after that and I did enjoy them but they really didn’t hit the same as the original 3 games for both Halo and Gears. E-Day will take us back perfectly!
