You made me break out my sample of Dolce Shine again. When I first smelled it months ago, I didn’t get any of the fruitiness that I was hoping for. I kept hearing people talk about the mango note in it, but I got 0% of that 😂 But now, I can smell everything I was missing the first time I sampled it 😀 It’s so good! I feel like the more I’m getting into fragrances, the better my nose is getting at picking up different accords/notes.

I'm on the fence with L'Imperatrice as well. It's definitely sour fruit, which isn't typically something I enjoy. I love the Light di Gioia and the Sky di Gioia perfumes! But I'm definitely a floral lover. I used to love gourmands in my 20s, but I hit my 30s and just didn't care for them anymore. I do love a good beachy scent!! Great video
Thank you! I find it so fascinating how our tastes change as we age. In my twenties I preferred fruity scents, now I’m super into gourmands and still can’t really do too many strong florals but I’m sure with time I’ll probably end up loving florals too. 🥰 it makes the journey fun!
I love love love Narciso Ambree. Ive been trying to buy small bottles too, but I bought a big one of this. To me it smells very feminine, and clean without being fresh. I get a slight tropical vibe with it.

@@sherlcollins7011 I have a little bit of trouble with Narciso fragrances for that reason. They are on the powdery side and can give off a mature vibe. With ambree I need a little more time to fully give my thoughts, but I will say I wore Ambree on Friday, I put it on around 7 am and thought to myself “this perfume is just meh for me” I didn’t smell it much for a while and then around 4-5 hours later I was sitting outside and the breeze was hitting me and I kept getting this beautiful scent and I realized it was Ambree. I fell in love. I think Ambree is the least mature one from what I’ve heard. I can’t wait to wear it again because it was really nice and lasted hours and hours on me which is rare.
I am loving Nina Ricci L’Eau right now - in my opinion, it’s perfect for hot weather, but then again I’m a sucker for Nina Ricci fragrances - the apple and cherry notes are outstanding!
I love l'imperatrice! Just got it yesterday and fell in love lol. I smelled watermelon & grapefruit for some reason lol. Shine is a favorite of mine too. I have to try kkw, but hear so many good things about it. These delivery drivers gonna have to hide all these packages from my boyfriend lol

I think you got the wrong L'Imperatrice. I made the same error but i like them both.. It's the L'Imperatrice but it's the L'Imperatrice 3 people are loving for the summer. They smell very similar but the L'Imperatrice top notes are watermelon and berries without the rhubarb and pink pepper at the top which gives it a sour grapefruit scent. Both are very watery and refreshing. They're very light and doesn't last after an hour so I find myself reapplying it like 3 to 4 times throughout the day.

For Summer I’m looking forward to using l’imperatrice, CK in2U ( find it so addicting) also a couple Jo loves/Zara collabs: water lily tea dress, vetiver pamplemouse, rose petal drops and fig and cashmere! They may not last the best but what freshies do🤷♀️ and in the heat it’s almost a pleasure to respray! Totally worth checking out for the price! I think they’re great😁
I just got dolce&gabbana shine and I love it! I wanted l’imperatrice but when I smelled it at ulta- I didn’t like it either. Narciso ambree sounds amazing! I love the color of the bottle too! Sky di Gioia sounds like a pretty scent!
L’emperatrice 3 smells like a realistic fruit salad to me. I have it but I use it to layer with. I feel the same, the longer I wear it, the better it gets

Honestly L'Imperatrice smelled awful to me initially. But over time it, I began to like it..not love it but its probably because it smells like grapefruit to me. I was surprised it didn't have grapefruit as a note at all. And Dolce Shine smells so good lol

I heard a lot of good things about L'Impertrice too but my bottle seems odd when it comes as it's missing the #3 and the big D&G got spelled out. I just ordered Sky too, I love Giorgio Armani perfume so much. Thanks for sharing😃
I tried l'imperatrice through scent bird and didn't like it initially but I liked it a bit more every time I tried it again. I wound up buying a full bottle at Marshall's and now I can't stop using it lol
I didn’t know what I had sprayed on myself when I first tried it at ULTA many many years ago because by the time I got home it smelled different and the scent stayed on my cardigan for the next few days. Every time I walked into ULTA I would spray myself and walk out wondering if it would change and sure enough the scent snuck up on me ♥️😆and I fell in love. I cant wear this any other time of year except summer. The heat just transforms the scent.

Everytime i saw notification on your new video, i am always so excited to watch!!! 😍 Also, i wanted to share and recommend you few fragrances that i personally like and all these are my successful blind buys! 1) Narciso Rodriguez Fleur Musc. - Such a pretty femmine scent! Rosy but not grandma rosy. Smells like rose petal but sweet? I can smell myself even wearing mask out! 2) Alive by Hugo Boss. - This is my go to spring/summer scent. Its like woodsy and slightly sweet scent 3) Red Door Aura by Elizabeth Arden. - I loooooooove this scent so much because it has rasberry note in it! Its like a rasberry-rosy-musky scent to me. 4) Also from Elizabeth Arden, Always Red. - It has plum note. But i do love it because it has praline in it! One of my favourite notes in a fragrance. kept smelling myself haha! This last very long on clothes! Probably about 10-12 hours. No kidding! 5) I Want Choo by Jimmy Choo. - My current favourite! Peachy-vanilla scent! 6) Fleur Narcotique by Ex Nihilo. - Another favourite go to spring/summer scent! Smells like Bath and Body Works, Saltwater Breeze but minus the litchi, peach, orange blossom and peony note. This could be a unisex scent too. Quite a number huh? Lol! But i would really love that you could buy any from those and try perhaps? I am eager to know your opinion on these fragrances. Hehe! 🤭🥰

They released a limited edition l’imperatrice (without the 3) it is by the same perfumer and is similar but it is a different perfume with different notes. Both of them are on Fragrantica if you want to look at the differences.

I recommend trying DKNY Be Delicious Cool Swirl. It sounds a bit like the Nina Ricci in that it is summery and sweet. Cool Swirl gives me ice cream vibes because it has a sorbet note.

have you tried Eau Des Merveilles by Hermes? it can be worn for summer(or other seasons). Its citrusy but woodsy at the same time. I find it every unique
I’m not the best person to test longevity since my skin eats up fragrances 😩 but i would say it’s moderate lasting power. It last a good 2-3 hours on me, I always end up reapplying my scents after a while. ❤️

Chant d'Extase is the only perfume I have a back up bottle for :D I just LOVE this perfume. I have Rose Extase and the OG L'Extase but they are not wow in my oppinion .

Your bottle of L’Imperatrice and mine look the same but the number 3 is missing on your bottle. I had recommended in a past video to try D&G 3 L’Imperatrice so these are likely very different perfume scents.

MM Beach Walk to me smells like a hair product I used to use 😆 Its nostalgic in a good way for me. But that Nest Sunkissed Hibiscus was an absolute no for me!! It was so intense for me and gave me a headache. I guess it just wasn't my cup of tea, but I'm glad you likeit. I want to give Nest more of a chance, and I think my next buy from them will be the wild poppy fragrance. I sniffed it once and it wasn't bad. I think you got the wrong L'Imperatrice. I made the same error but i like them both.. It's the L'Imperatrice but it's the L'Imperatrice 3 people are loving for the summer. They smell very similar but the L'Imperatrice top notes are watermelon and berries without the rhubarb and pink pepper at the top which gives it a sour grapefruit scent. Both are very watery and refreshing. They're very light and doesn't last after an hour so I find myself reapplying it like 3 to 4 times throughout the day.

For Summer I’m looking forward to using l’imperatrice, CK in2U ( find it so addicting) also a couple Jo loves/Zara collabs: water lily tea dress, vetiver pamplemouse, rose petal drops and fig and cashmere! They may not last the best but what freshies do🤷♀️ and in the heat it’s almost a pleasure to respray! Totally worth checking out for the price! I think they’re great😁

I just got dolce&gabbana shine and I love it! I wanted l’imperatrice but when I smelled it at ulta- I didn’t like it either. Narciso ambree sounds amazing! I love the color of the bottle too! Sky di Gioia sounds like a pretty scent!
L’emperatrice 3 smells like a realistic fruit salad to me. I have it but I use it to layer with. I feel the same, the longer I wear it, the better it gets

I have already the d&g l imperatrice and i love it but is not longlasting at all on my skin,and the shine by d&g is amazing,my scents for this summer will be the two those by D&G ,also Elisabeth Arden white tea,jenny Glow berry &bay ,florabotanica by Balenciaga,kenzo world,mugler angel iced star and hermes un jardin après la mousson ,

Honestly L'Imperatrice smelled awful to me initially. But over time it, I began to like it..not love it but its probably because it smells like grapefruit to me. I was surprised it didn't have grapefruit as a note at all. And Dolce Shine smells so good lol

I heard a lot of good things about L'Impertrice too but my bottle seems odd when it comes as it's missing the #3 and the big D&G got spelled out. I just ordered Sky too, I love Giorgio Armani perfume so much. Thanks for sharing😃
I tried l'imperatrice through scent bird and didn't like it initially but I liked it a bit more every time I tried it again. I wound up buying a full bottle at Marshall's and now I can't stop using it lol

I didn’t know what I had sprayed on myself when I first tried it at ULTA many many years ago because by the time I got home it smelled different and the scent stayed on my cardigan for the next few days.
Every time I walked into ULTA I would spray myself and walk out wondering if it would change and sure enough the scent snuck up on me ♥️😆and I fell in love. I cant wear this any other time of year except summer. The heat just transforms the scent.

Also, i wanted to share and recommend you few fragrances that i personally like and all these are my successful blind buys!
1) Narciso Rodriguez Fleur Musc. - Such a pretty femmine scent! Rosy but not grandma rosy. Smells like rose petal but sweet? I can smell myself even wearing mask out!
2) Alive by Hugo Boss. - This is my go to spring/summer scent. Its like woodsy and slightly sweet scent
3) Red Door Aura by Elizabeth Arden. - I loooooooove this scent so much because it has rasberry note in it! Its like a rasberry-rosy-musky scent to me.
4) Also from Elizabeth Arden, Always Red. - It has plum note. But i do love it because it has praline in it! One of my favourite notes in a fragrance. kept smelling myself haha! This last very long on clothes! Probably about 10-12 hours. No kidding!
5) I Want Choo by Jimmy Choo. - My current favourite! Peachy-vanilla scent!
6) Fleur Narcotique by Ex Nihilo. - Another favourite go to spring/summer scent! Smells like Bath and Body Works, Saltwater Breeze but minus the litchi, peach, orange blossom and peony note. This could be a unisex scent too.

Sun-kissed Hibiscus Nest smells so good, I also had a little sample from Sephora and bought the small bottle which is gorgeous as you mentioned .
It’s like the perfect beachy summer scent 😍 i don’t know why I picture it at sunset in the evenings but it just seems perfect for that. 🥰

Sunkissed Hibiscus is a good one. I also like Aerin Hibiscus Palm (also available at Sephora).

So you may want to get a sample or travel size first if you’re thinking about getting it. I have all 3 (in travel sizes though) because I just couldn’t help myself 🤦♀️ 😂

I recommend trying DKNY Be Delicious Cool Swirl. It sounds a bit like the Nina Ricci in that it is summery and sweet. Cool Swirl gives me ice cream vibes because it has a sorbet note.

I love Nest fragrances and the bottles are to die for. I really want Indigo and the one you have. I got gifted from my son Midnight Fleur and I love it. Great video. Many lovely perfumes. Unfortunately the Sun one does not work for me. I was so excited to get it and it smells like cleaner to me.

I’m not the best person to test longevity since my skin eats up fragrances 😩 but i would say it’s moderate lasting power. It last a good 2-3 hours on me, I always end up reapplying my scents after a while. ❤️

Chant d'Extase is the only perfume I have a back up bottle for :D I just LOVE this perfume. I have Rose Extase and the OG L'Extase but they are not wow in my oppinion .

3 L’Imperatrice not L’Imperatrice. Your bottle of L’Imperatrice and mine look the same but the number 3 is missing on your bottle. I had recommended in a past video to try D&G 3 L’Imperatrice so these are likely very different perfume scents.

MM Beach Walk to me smells like a hair product I used to use 😆 Its nostalgic in a good way for me. But that Nest Sunkissed Hibiscus was an absolute no for me!! It was so intense for me and gave me a headache. I guess it just wasn't my cup of tea, but I'm glad you likeit. I want to give Nest more of a chance, and I think my next buy from them will be the wild poppy fragrance. I sniffed it once and it wasn't bad. Love your content even though I don't comment much (Trying to do better with that all across CZcams).
