Immune Boosting Onion Soup/Red Onion Soup

    Today I will be showing you how to make Immune Boosting onion soup.
    This Red onion soup is very simple and easy to make. This recipe is healthy, tasty, and nutritious. Red onions are beneficial for our health they contain vitamins and minerals and are loaded with antioxidants.
    This warming soup is good for colds, flues, and weak Immune system. This soup can be enjoyed at anytime of the day. Hope you like and enjoy the video.
    Ingredients,
    1.9 litres water
    1 large size red onion
    3 large garlic cloves
    11/2 tbls cornflour
    11/2 tsp salt or according to your taste
    1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
    3/4 tsp white or black pepper powder
    2 tbls olive oil or butter for frying
    1 tbls extra virgin olive oil for seasoning
    In the video I only added 1 tbls of cornflour my mistake should be 11/2 tbls.

    Thank you for this. I chopped a whole onion, and a few bulbs of garlic and added it to canned soup. Within an hour, my breathing is better. I will forever add these ingredients to canned soup. 🎉

    Fabulous recipe! Thanks! 🙏 I was dealing with residual issues coming from COVID and this soup offered a lot of comfort and relief. I sautéd a stem of fresh rosemary with the onions and garlic. I added cayenne and some umami flavors to the broth along with fresh sliced lemon. I didn’t let it cook for as long as you did but my broth was still very concentrated. This was so soothing to my irritated throat. It was light on my stomach when I couldn’t hold much down. I didn’t get heartburn. I wanted to make an onion soup that didn’t have cheese but I wasn’t sure of how to go about it. Thank you for sharing your little recipe. I’m definitely adding this to my little repertoire of sickness soups. Best wishes to you and yours. 🥰

    So the last step is to add extra virgin oil so it sits on your soup ??? not chives or basil, marjoram.. thyme ?? etc etc

    1.9 liters equals 2 quarts or 64.247 ounces. Just sayin’.
