- Sometimes even love is not enough to keep some people happy. Meray Paas Tum Ho revolves around the lives of an ordinary couple, Danish and Mehwish who have different needs and mindset which slowly drifts them apart.
Ayeza Khan as Mehwish is a beautiful girl from a middle-class family. She is married to Danish who loves her immensely. She has certain expectation from life which Danish is unable to fulfill.

Humayun Saeed as Danish is a simple and honest man who works in a government organization. His life revolves around his wife, Mehwish.
They are both leading a happy life, but despite Danish’s best efforts, he is not able to give Mehwish the life that she desires.
Shees Sajji Gul as Roomi is the only son of Mehwish and Danish.
Adnan Siddiqui as Shehwaar is a rich and charming man. He has a cunning nature and knows how to manipulate people. He is the owner of a large company in which Mehwish starts working.
Mehar Bano as Anushey is a close friend of Mehwish who belongs to a well-off family.
Rehmat Ajmal as Aisha and Furqan Qureshi as Salman are the mutual friends of both Mehwish and Danish who are always there for them in time of need.
Hira Salman as Hania is the teacher of Roomi, Mehwish and Danish’s son. She is also the daughter of Danish’s colleague, Mateen Sahab.
In light of the aforementioned circumstances between Mehwish and Danish, will the latter’s true devotion and love for the former ever be enough for her?

@@sophrosynemind imo, the society in my native country India has westernised far quickly in these past 5-6 years. Healthy relationships are rare to witness in metropolitan cities, where people are more career and money oriented. I believe the society in Pakistan is also slowly slowly moving towards the western pattern and thus, money and fame is becoming more precious for people rather than relationships. And if you talk about dramas and soaps, i believe Pakistani dramas still give me a sense of being rooted to the culture, on the other hand, Indian soaps are jz about glamorous people, with a lot of skin show and absolutely nonsensical scripts.

Being non Muslim I didn't understand what "Sirk" meant. I googled it, and found out that it's worshiping another God besides Allah. So there was a deep meaning to that statement made by Danesh. Written by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, this script is fabulous!! The man is obviously a forward thinker who also thinks outside the box and his unconventional drama has us all raving. The dialogues are superb, direction excellent, cast so well chosen each one fits the part to a T - even our little favorite fellow. Acting right on cue, realistic and heartfelt. And if that's not all, the social message this sends is such a good one. No double standards here - cheaters come in male & female, and cheating is not a mistake it's a serious character flaw - One that betrays trust - And trust is a sacred thing, spiritually speaking. The decency, the grace & the gentle in this man is heartwarming, and most of us (men & women) simply want to reach out & give him a hug. Will be checking out more of this writer's work - Hope there are other dramas like this one.
