    As for motorcycles, form and function are what serve my purpose. I have been riding motorcycles since I was twelve, I am now sixty four. I have ridden in competition racing and learned from an early age that once you find the bike that works for you...Stick with it! Great presentation my friend!

      Right on! Riding motorcycles since I was 14 :) was not tall enough to ride a honda 70cc that time. so I used pavements LOL and or Jumped up like a bicycle. and rode it. Often fell when wanted to stop because no high pavement was around LOL. my father always supported me and gave me the keys and said, go ride. Fun times.

    Hi, thanks for your honest review. Do you still love the bike now a few months on?? Have you had any problems? I moved from the UK to Spain a year ago and have some beautiful rides in the mountains so have been considering the GV300. I was amazed to see this review from you as I followed you 10 years ago when I was building drones. Thrilled to see you are still producing some excellent videos.

      Hey Paul, welcome back to channel buddy. Yes I was looking at many motorcycles, including benelli cruisers, other korean and chinese cruiser, and race bikes, but my original problem was, all of the bikes were too high for my short height. this is the only motorcycle that fits my height and I am very comfortable riding it. after i test rode it, I bought it quick. I have been riding it very often for almost all my city related work and trips, and pick kids, even go grocery shopping and take things in saddle bags. So far I have no issues at all. I simply love it. I have remove the loud exhaust and back to original quiet exhaust because of recent crack down on noisy motorcycles by local cops LOL. later maybe I will modify the exhaust again :). Yes there is one issue and that is holders where you hold the handle, are too hard and on long rides can give your hands painful time. apart from that, everything is just superb

    My bobber has different tyres. I do not have the ‘slipping’ issue. I changed the grips. My hands were hurting and the ‘gas handling’ is much steadier now. I have very small hands (5 foot tall woman).

    • @alishanmao
      @alishanmao  Před 3 lety

      Yes, the Grips are my next replacement too. I am in fact saving for a smaller custom exhaust that make it sound even better. not too loud, yet very distinct sound. What type of tires are you using? i gotta change them too. I am 5 foot 3 inch Tall :D

  • @SkepticRaider
    @SkepticRaider Před 2 lety

    Man I love the sound on your custom exhaust! I have a question, this is not a good bike for taller riders, right?

    • @alishanmao
      @alishanmao  Před 2 lety +1

      @@alishanmao may I ask if it's difficult to obtain a motorcycle license in China? And can you ride throughout China with it, barring the off- limit areas of course.

    • @alishanmao
      @alishanmao  Před 2 lety

      @@chong-kenglimdr8922 not difficult. you have to pass a ride and a computer test which is in chinese language. for Car driving they have computer test in English language. so that could be only issue for foreigners. but you might be able to find a way around for that. like finding an interpreter to sit with you during test and help you read the question and you can choose answers.
      once you have the license you can ride around China. however Expressways still do not allow motorcycles. so you have to go on local highways and other roads except expressways.
