Grab the 650b Gravel bike and lets head out for an Oregon adventure bike over night bikepacking documentary. We gravel grind to find our dispersed camp site. We tested out our Bikepacking bags on this quick shakedown ride. Doug Higley was my cycling partner in crime. It was Doug’s first Bikepacking trip ever! Our gravel bikes did very well on the terrain we routed on even fully loaded down. Heres to a longer bikepacking trip next time! - Sport

i dont mean to be off topic but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an instagram account..?
I was stupid forgot the password. I would love any assistance you can offer me!
@Giovanni Huxley Instablaster :)
@Keanu Dawson Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site on google and im in the hacking process now.
I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
@Keanu Dawson it did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thanks so much you saved my account!
@Giovanni Huxley You are welcome xD
I'm concerned about the lack of Ron
LMAO!! Me too!
Ok, Friday WAS my favorite day of the week. Now my favorite day of the week is Premier Thursday!
Ya blew my week DK.
✌🏾
That's what I like to hear!
No orange smokey sky or burning hellscape in the background, must have taken the trip before the summer went to 💩. Good looking trip...great timing!🤓
You already know!
broke my collar bone over the weekend, watching your vid cheered me up!
Just got back from some bike camping myself. Nothing beats waking up to a still morning in the woods (as long as you're warm)!
Shout out to Doug!
Tomorrows video we surprise Doug with a special gift!
Yes! More bikepacking content! Love it!
Doug and Dustin star in "Gravel Cops: The Graveling."
Chair and pillow mando as far as I am concerned, when bikepacking. My chair ways 17 oz's, totally worth it.
I like the way a loaded bike handles probably because it’s another reason to ride slower. Nice trip out! Take it easy!
dying to do a shakedown ride right now. bikepacking is the new spring classics.
Sounds fun!
@@EverythingsBeenDone Boise’s stacked with snow on all the good routes so gonna be a bit till it’s feasible
Ace! I can’t believe I missed this one! 👌👌🏁🏁
Hope you enjoyed it!
@@EverythingsBeenDone yeah it was ace! What tent are you using ?
>X-Wing taking fire
R2D2: 5:00
Ha! Dead on!
LMAO!!!!!
Rack-packing is underrated. It's an extra pound or two but so worth it for the ease of packing rear panniers and a front platform rack. Add fork and frame bottle cages and you're ready for the long haul in pretty much any part of the world. Riding slower means having fun longer.
My experience has taught me that racks are tough with a lot of bummpy terrain.
@@EverythingsBeenDone you're too fast! lol I dunno, maybe. I'm very slow.
Been off the bike for 2 weeks. Thanks for the kick in the ass to get back to the bike.
haven't watched it yet, but already know this is going to be a good one!
It is a good one! 😁
It is!
PLAYERS!
Bike packing is awesome, especially when there is NO traffic. :)
The perfect video to enjoy whilst I have my morning cuppa tea
You make bikepacking fun! Love your work! Nice gravel bike too! Loz from Down Under. :-)
I love the way you put this video together
This video fucking rocked. Love your channel and the brand. Keep up the good work
You rule!! Thanks Andrew.
Banging video DK, consistently creating awesome content on...off...around and even...under bikes!!
Wayne always bringing in that positive support! Thanks bud.
Awesome as usual buddy ... cheers Chris & Sam
Dustin, you just make damn fine videos brother, keep having fun and letting those good vibes come through in your filming and editing style with healthy doses of fun humour.
Really like this. I am going for the same shakedown bikepacking this Friday.. this video keep up my spirit for bikepacking👍
Hagg lake and Stimson. Gorgeous!
Dope lil setup and trip!! I just made my own bags so I'll be soon on a trip and documenting the whole process
Sounds exccting!
Took my first bikepacking trip a couple weeks ago, went about like yours! Lots of great views good times and good riding with only a couple minor mishaps 🤙
Love your videos! They make me want to ride more often!
Glad to hear it!
Yes, Brobah!
Come to PA for the rail trails. Amazeballs!!
Yes please!!!
@@EverythingsBeenDone The GAP/C&O trail from Pittsburgh to Washington DC is on my bucket list would love to have you and other players join me.
Bill O'Neill my friend (Detroit) and I (New Jersey) we’re supposed to bikepack that the week of Memorial Day this year but this damn pandemic
@@equus123 yeah it sucks. I'm gonna to shoot for it sometime next year.
Loving the coverage from 8:30-8:39 keep it up ✊🏼
Great one, this one!!! Just in time for Swift Campout... More of them, please!
Time to re pack the bags!
BULLMOOSE DROPBARS! very nice
Nice to see this kind of content, consider putting full fender if you go multiday with one pair of shoes. it keeps them dry and make the ride more cozy.
Always enjoy your videos Dustin. You make me want to ride more which can only be a good thing. More riding less hiding. Speaking of hiding, where’s Ron?? Big love from across the pond ❤️🇬🇧
Nice video
Thank you
Three freezer galloon ziplocks make a great mega easy pillow inside tent stuff sack. Also believe it or not position the shoes in stuff sack after a long day makes a hell of a comfortable pillow too when positioned properly!
So much fancy gear !
I'm having Ron withdrawals!
More bikepacking!
This is so cool I wanna do this
dustin i like the music you used in your videos when you started making these. just saying those tunes were awesome maybe some more please.
Glad you like it! The directors cut uses some different music in it!
Stoking the stoke my friend i can’t wait to get out have been going over my gear over and over now just need to do it
Another entertaining video!
Your the man! Keep the videos coming!
No you! 😜
Ha ha ha ha!!! I can't stop laughing! You're videos are so funny!! Thanks!
Every video is a good one on your channel, D Money 🤙🏼.
I appreciate that!
Awesome vid, more like this!
You got it
I think they call it bikepacking because you spend most of your time packing and unpacking your bags.
Two day overnighter sounds choice. Set up camp once and do a big unloaded ride day two. Hopefully your camp will still be there (unoccupied) when you get back to it...
Loved the different music on all the cuts, soul version was my fav
I was just about to comment that you should go on a bike packing trip after you got those bags
When are you going to do a follow up about how awesome your revolution in Portland turned out?
Had to unsubscribe because of the burn loot murder throw up,just another George Soros minion, shame really liked the channel!
All whether reports should be like this! :)
Bawhahaha
track sounded like a 70's khmer rock oldies
Love your videos. D you have a list of the bags and equipment you used? That tent looks super light weight! Where is that from?
Banana is one of the highest protein containing fruits, with something like 1 - 2 % of the total weight!
Well I was gonna read about nonprofit accounting BUT this is far
more important atm 🙏🏾
Dang I wish I cought this live. Very cool, not the format I was expecting.
We go live during every premiere every Every Thursday at 1pm PST / 4pm EST / 9PM GMT
Oregon!
Is that Cambodian music I'm hearing during the camp scene?
Ok, I'm gonna need me some more info on that chair cause I might need one
I got you: bit.ly/35LTTsM
Plus its on sale!!
DK, I see people commenting on the lack of Soot and Smoke.
Did you see Matt Reyes’ pics of SF with the red sky? Hauntingly beautiful...
We are living it right now
I LIKE IT!!
F yeah Bro! Won't be able to comment much because I'll be at work but I'll be listening
Then it’s time for “smoke break”
Hahaha yes.
Good call!
perfect !
Great video!
And thanks for the plug:)
One question; As I am considering what packing gear to rig onto my hardtail, I am wondering why most people are not opting to use rear racks. Is it because of weight?
Regards, Syd
The no rack things is mostly a trend. One functional thing with no racks is that they do well on bumpy terrain
@@EverythingsBeenDone Ahh, I see. Well, I will buck the trend and will likely up size my tires so that I can run lower pressure (not worried about speed). I can't seem to ride past water, fresh or salt, without casting a fishing pole, and a rack allows for easy pole mounts.
Thanks for the reply.
Hmm, I also have some mounting points on my fork, but never use them. I think it's better something big, soft and lightweight like a mat rather than water bottles becuase of bumps?
Nothing an extra toe strap cant handle
I just noticed your stem and it's craaaaazy
I need to ride Oregon!
It's a good time!
It looks amazing out there.
Thom Brohbrah..Classic Dr. Klein!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Awesome
lets see a fixed gear bikepacking trip!
What tires are you running on the Wilier? Oh, and there is about 1.3g of protein in a medium banana!
Current set up is with Ultra D tires.
Gravel Bike Tires: bit.ly/UD_Rose
Pretty late lol, but any idea what shorts you wore on this trip? Chrome maybe?
That is one ✨nice✨ bike
I feel the same So honored!
@@EverythingsBeenDone had a look around and the frame doesn't appear to be available here in the UK. Super disappointed :(
All bananas in this video were cage free, free range and boneless
Beer? No beer? Homer no function beer well without.
Hi Dustin, having travelled thru' Washington State, Oregon and California in the early 70s, I've always wanted to return to cycle down the west coast with my wife sometime in a post-Covid future, from Vancouver and Vancouver Is. And your rides only whet my appetite even more! I will be candid tho', the thought of travelling thru' the USA makes me nervous because of the prevalence of guns. Are my concerns valid or unfounded. Many thanks, Loz from Down Under.
Thanks needed this after a S@#* day.. ride on
The dynamic choice?
What make and model was the tent you used?
Yo DK, I purchased the directors cut, but never received my email!! Any idea what happened?
@Malcolm Elliot Check in your spam. I found a video I bought in there
What make is the tent Dustin?
Saw this twice now. F going thrice
I paid for the ticket yet haven’t received it. What did I do wrong?
“Look at this god damned garden of eden right here” ha!
Werd!!!👍
yassss
Dustin, tell me about your shoes.
where does the music in your videos come from lol
how are 34 people disliking this video, this is what the people need
Haa i didnt expeckt that today nice ;)
Perfect!
What about forest fire?
Stay fresh
You know it!
What are the songs in video?
you never said how the meal was. Good. meh or bad?
the SW winds from the N are the worst
AHAHAHAHAHAHhhahahha
@@EverythingsBeenDone also, reusable silicone pouches, minute rice and dehydrated refried beans are my money saving tip over prepared freeze dried meal$
Really enjoyed the video. Also, was just bit concerned for you as I think you live in what is now the smokey par of the world. Un that red stuff might fire, it's hurt you.
hahaha hold on let me grab a pencil...
You didn't ask your pal about his bike!
I have asked Doug about that bike in past videos. I dont ask people to talk about the same bike over and over
Just a note the average banana has 1.3 grams of protein, according to google.
