Light Lure Fishing for Perch in TOUGH Conditions!

some days the perch just don't want to bite! Even though this video was filmed in late spring the weather was like the middle of winter!(for the UK anyway) this made conditions incredibly difficult so I had to work really hard ate try get them to bite, luckily I found a few lures that the perch were interested in to save the session.

Hey mate, nice video, you caught some nice perch, next week am gonna try catching some perch too, yesterday i got a very fat pike, after a fight for 5 minutes it fell of, i guess she was bigger as a meter, what a shame it fell of but the adrenaline was there! Great video again 👍🥇

Great video. Just getting into this type of fishing. Can I just ask how did you attach the Jig Head did you use a light wire trace or just tie a clip to the end of your braid. Thanks for sharing.

They are just hoovering up the small fry at this time of year. They're so stuffed with food it can be really tough to catch them.
The air pressure makes a big difference,high pressure,less fish.When the pressure drops,the next day usually produces.If the pressure stays high,the fish acclimatise eventually,but low getting to high not so good.
Have you thought about going down the BFS route for light lure fishing? I’ve just started dialling back in on the 0.6-8gm rod, you really do feel all the bumps 😁

Love how you say only 3 fish but I've been same canal for over 2 months everyday after school and no fish only seen 3 fish try go for it but couldn't hook

another great video quick tip for the photos just poke them by the left of the gill and they should stick up there spikes

You got a canal I think Gloucestershire and sharpness canal? Google it mate you will find some spots... personally if I was you I'd fish whatever spot of canal is closest to you
