Stuck here after Killing Eve. The kissing scene was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen and this song fitted it perfectly. I’m pretending the ending never happened and that Eve and Villanelle got their well deserved happy ending. 🥺
It was by far the most authentically beautiful kiss I've seen on screen. Breathtaking. You can see just how comfortable J and S were with each other. It almost felt unscripted and completely real. It was that genuine. It sucks that everyone's negativity about the ending has overshadowed that beautiful scene.

The fiction that changed my life and affected me in the same way. Was The Shawshank Redemption it ignited my passion for film. I was similarly affected after watching the masterpiece that was The Sopranos.

This is beautiful and sad at the same time, this song will always have a meaning for me, will always makes me cry so hard, the same way I'm crying right now. I used to be so obsessed with eve and villanelle that now, after villanelle's dead, I'm feeling like some familiar person had passed away, I'm literally in pain, crying and feeling empty. This isn't even rational, it's just fiction, eve doesn't exists in the real world, villanelle doesn't exists, but all of us felt like she was some kind of friend, a comfort, someone that we learned to love and to take care. I'm sad, really sad.
It’s a natural feeling. There’s a name for it, but I can’t think of what it is. Basically, our bodies don’t know the difference between fact and fiction. It only knows what it’s feeling.
Solution is, just totally disregard the finale - that's what I'm doing. The character, acting, and portrayal is too important to be ruined for you by one person's bad writing.
If it helps, I think one reason why, is cuz you're a sensitive person, which in no way is bad...Maybe, try to think of other things !! Emphasis on "TRY" :):)

Really such an absolute perfect choice for this particular scene. I'm still not over it. Years of yearning, tension and feelings and then finally giving in and surrendering to it so stunningly portrayed. In my fairytale bubble they are still in this scene and will forever stay there, this is the ending they deserved. ❤️

Such a good song... I have sooo many mixed feelings abt that episode, I can't stop thinking about it. They had gone through such a long journey and she was finally happy and loved, she was happy and she had gotten what she needed and wanted... the tarot reading was right, she was blessed by celestial light, and eve got death, but in a different way, she has to deal with Vs death now. I wish they had survived and lived happily ever after, that kiss scene was amazing and they were so full of love and contentness...
