I got my very first tarantula and she is the same size as yours in this video. My G. pulchripes doesn't kick hairs, so it was interesting to see yours kick, since they supposedly don't do it often, especially at that age. Mine lifted her butt up in the air to make herself look bigger when she felt threatened rather than kick.

I’ve now had her for quite a long time and that was the only time I’ve ever seen her kick so I definitely do think they do it sparingly

I’ve had her for about 7 months now and she’s lovely! Very calm not skittish at all and is a great eater! :)
