    My dog had fanconi syndrome which is a Severe kidney disorder. Every time we took her outside she would dig up dandelion and eat the roots. We didn't fill her up with all of the pills the vets wanted to sell us. She lived 13 years and the vets were completely astounded. She was active and healthy up until the last month of her life.

    Dandelion has a beneficial effect on the liver. The fresh stems of the flower, five to six pieces, chewed daily bring swift relief in chronic inflammation of the liver (sharp pain felt in the region of the lower corner of the right shoulderblade). As long as the plant is in flower, diabetics should eat up to 10 stems daily. The stems with the flowers are washed and only then is the flowerhead removed and the stems are slowly chewed. They taste somewhat bitter at first, but are crisp and juicy similar to a leaf of endive. Sickly people who feel constantly tired and are without energy should take a 14-day course of treatment with the fresh stems of Dandelion. The effect is surprising.

    I have most of these and look forward to adding the 3 that I'm lacking. Plantain is my go-to for so much. If you haven't made a salve with it or don't have it with you, just crush a leaf to bring up the juices and rub it on bites and rashes. Kills the itch and inflammation.

    Two of my favorites are calendula and hibiscus. The cheerful orange and yellow calendula blossoms bloom in the spring. A poultice of the petals healed a very painful spider bite when everything else failed, including some expensive antibiotics. I also use hibiscus flowers for high blood pressure. A cup of the delicious tea at bedtime will lower my blood pressure, both putting me to sleep and, more importantly, keeping me asleep. Otherwise I wake up at 2am, fresh as a daisy. It’s a popular folk medicine and you can get bags of the dried flowers very cheaply at Mexican markets.

      Same here - I've found making my own sz 0 turmeric capsules (etsy sells a machine to make #0 gelatin caps, amazon sells the caps) and getting Anthony's turmeric and collagen and adding about 1/8tsp hyaluronic acid (powder, bulk bags) to the tumeric caps with about 5 capsules of tumeric per day keeps the pain away. Also using 8000-10,000iu vitamin D (fermented cod liver oil, Carsins brand) 8000mg vitamin c liposome, and solaray Mineral Max & kelp for iodine (day time, take with meals bc they are fat soluble). At night I use a B5 and sunflower oil with passion flower tea (you can also do caps) help with deep restorative sleep (I always use a Deep Sleep Hemi-Sync meditation from Monroe Institute to obtain the deepest relaxation/REM - but they also have a pain relief meditation that is extraordinary). I take it collagen in a kefir, coconut oil, spirilina, soursop (also called gabana - Wal-Mart or amazon carry it dried in bags in the Hispanic medicine section), banana or apple, aloe, cranberry juice, moringa leaves, kale, d mannose (natural cure for uti problems) and konjac root powder to start the day. For direct application for pain, look to an extract of wild lettuce that you could down, strain the juice and dry in the oven. You can make caps out of that. You can also apply Voltan cream (diflonec I think is the pharma baggie), or by making a salve of plantain, comfrey, and calendula.

    I really need to find someone who can help teach me everything I need to know about medicinal plants and how to grow them. I just wish I had a place to grow them and the money to grow them all inside a bunker. I also want to build a cave house and plant everything inside the cave.

    You can treat the loss of sensitivity in your hands and feet because of Polyneuropathic or other problems with Cayenne pepper baths (beware of open skin!). Take 1 soupspoon full of cayenne pepper powder for a foot bath. Stay in it 20 - 30 minutes.
    Rins your feet with clear water to remove the cayenne pepper afterwards.

      Sally, we’re no experts but if you are just starting out (which we are) we have found The Medicinal Gardening Handbook by Dede Cummings and Alyssa Holmes to be a great resource on plants, cultivation, harvesting and storage, as well as recipes and preparation for/of herbal concoctions. The great thing about it is it’s not a bible of overwhelming data but starts us off with something like 12 cultivated herbs and 12 wild herbs, and goes from there. If it fits, you might want to try it.

    • @CountryLivingExperience
      @CountryLivingExperience  Před 8 měsíci

      You're welcome. There are no herbs that just outright kill cancer. Ridding yourself of cancer naturally is a process of eliminating things from your diet and environment that feed cancer. Disease is the effort of nature to free the system from conditions the result from the violations of the laws of health.

    Plantain as pain reliever? That's new to me. Please explain.
    I'm in Australia. We have narrow and broadleaved in our grass. I know it's antibacterial, antifungal and anti inflammatory. It can be used to break up bronchial coughs when made Ito tea. Juice (crushing it) to get rid of school sores/coldsores. Farmers use the juice on cuts, use them as bandaids

    • @CountryLivingExperience
      @CountryLivingExperience  Před 2 lety +1

      You just explained it. As an anti-inflammatory, as it stops the inflammation, the pain qill quickly subside.

    • @beksta8518
      @beksta8518 Před 2 lety

      @@CountryLivingExperience true, I just thought you meant stronger like say poppy juice or willow bark (and people watching this thread, PLEASE research either of those extensively before using as both are potent and do more than relieve pain, you do not want to cause more harm then good).
      Chamomile is also a mild pain reliever btw.

    Just curious but have you seen the new eg4 6548 from signature solar?Does it bother you the way it was released? Not that there's anything wrong with your setup (mines almost exact as yours but not installed yet)but I would have waited if I knew this was coming.I reached out to them but they said it had been 6mo(only 5) and would charge me 30% restocking fee but they would exchange them.To me they should have announced it being in the works on the email list.Whats the point in subscribing or watching their you tube vids if they don't tell you what they are planning. Kinda like the innovair mini splits they were selling.They don't anymore and are saying they can't get a source for them but they were getting a dc mini split soon.Seems to me they sold the stock they had and are now going a different direction.Time will tell as I still need an additional 5000es and they are out at the moment.Still pleased with their service but I do think they should have announced what they were cooking.I would only need 2) 6548's and no transformer at all which is a hell of alot easier to wire plus they communicate w/batteries.Also more dc pv voltage per inverter.Anyway just picking you'd brain on it. Getting hot here in Texas now!!!lol

    • @CountryLivingExperience
      @CountryLivingExperience  Před 2 lety +1

      I am not bothered by it. There is always new tech being developed and sought after by distributors like Sig Solar. Deals with manufacturers fall through, they take time to develop, and they don't always work. There is no way for them to know. Supply chains are intensely difficult to navigate right now.
      Stay tuned for some thoughts of mine on installing your own equipment. Got a video brewing on the subject of DIY.
