How.... did you forget to mention Dodge Offset? It's the single most important thing that you need to learn in both Bayo 1 and 2. If you're not using Dodge Offset, you're not playing Bayonetta. The real Bayonetta starts here!
@@david_mysterium2317 It's an innate ability and doesn't require unlocking or equipping. The thing was, in combo games, your most powerful attacks were usually those that came at the end of the combo. However, when an enemy goes to attack you, if you dodged it would reset your combo and you'd have to start over again. That was until Bayonetta fixed this issue. So, for example, and you can do her PKP combo. That's 3 moves. Punch, Kick, and then Punch. In any other action game, you could do Punch, Kick, and then have to dodge, which as I said, would reset your combo and you'd have to start the sequence again. In Bayonetta, you can do Punch, Kick(hold down the kick button) + dodge, and then press Punch and the final punch in this 3 hit combo will come out. It basically allows you to save your inputs during a dodge, and continue the combo where you left off after dodging.
@@morgan599 Enjoy! You can do a lot of stuff with it in Bayonetta 1: Taunt Offset, Beast Offset, Crow Offset. Beast Offset is especially useful, as it allows you to move around the battlefield, keeping out of harms way, whilst cycling through a combo in order to get to the Wicked Weaves. You can basically finish most encounters in the game with nothing but Wicked Weaves, all while keeping your combo score going. I mean, you shouldn't do this, because you won't get a very good score since the value of a Wicked Weave drops after a few hits at which point the game asks you to reset this by hitting the enemy with something else, but I only brought it up to illustrate how powerful this is.

I like the fact that he encourages no button mashing even though you can do that at any given moment and still come out on top
