I was a big fan of Kostia Tszyu, I loved his KO of Zab Judah and his war with Rickey Hatton. I can imagine he is very proud of his boys Tim and Nikita, I know I would be very proud of them, and I am a fan of these young men, classy outside the ring and beastly inside the ring.

I’ve been scrolling all through these comments and you are the first person out of the previous 50 comments I’ve read that is pro Thurman! Lol! The australians will not support an American and especially not an African American one at that (and Thurman is barely African American lol but he has to much pigment still I guess lol)! AUSSIE’S ARE COOL ! I grew up in California with our lineage that started in cattle ranching in the 1860’s or so in Calif , Not all is Los Angeles , Some cool remote areas there too, No Yazzie’s though , But the Yowie’s cousin !!!! I backpacked at night and still would but it’s not happening! Had experiences that would shake anyone , Saw one in a ravine maybe forty yards below me, Walking in to the Sierra Nevada thick forest there, Shakes you up! Prior rock clacking to footfalls that you feel at 3:20 a.m. or so, THIS IS BOXING 🥊! My dad who won twice before the war ( medaled) in the Golden Gloves tournaments , I did well growing up, Did so many other sports to outdoor stuff I couldn’t or didn’t want to spread myself out if I committed , Like most Aussie fighters and bands ! I saw the big fights and Timmy’s Dad , His brother is a force I believe , I am built like Tim and have that power , I relate to him in my theory being with his dad at some fights and he went back to Russia when Tim was a teen ? I believe, Tim has a fire in him that pushes him hard to show Kostya , I was worth staying for as his family, The old Russian methods I believe his gramps is and has showed him to harden the knuckles ( saw them) is mountain tough Russian stuff ! I relate , We have so many pussies 😂as Tim says of late, My favorite or one of them my dad loved was Sugar Ray Robinson , A dream fight to me is Tim with a bit more scalp taking under his belt against in his prime ( rip) Marvin Hagler !!! A great chin , Be a war ! A classic ! Some out there now too, I like Thurman and he started at 154 and fought that in the amateurs too i am pretty sure, He has good power and the little weight he puts on might help with the eight weeks of some strength conditioning , Mel Charlo did it to quickly against Canelo , Canelo using banned substances took my respect away , He still has the benefit’s of using in his thickness and strength and being a big money machine the whole town to airlines and all that is profiting from his name and event in their city , Many May look away as he’s used other banned up to that point or ? I have tried to watch Tim over the years and I believe he has that brawler style and he has enough heart to have carried him through the years to this point but I don’t think he is very technical and he doesn’t have the best footwork! I truly believe every boxer has a punchers chance but unless he brings a completely different approach to the ring on fight night, I believe that he will not get the W on fight night!

I like Tim Tszyu. I liked his father. Both extremely skilled and dedicated fighters. Both nice guys and respectful. But to say that Thurman has never fought anyone like him is absurd. Manny, Danny Garcia, Shawn Porter, Luis Collazo, Diego Chaves, and even power puncher Mario Barrios. Tszyu better be prepared for the toughest fight of his life. Thurman is the real deal and can end Tszyu's dream on March 30th. Thurman has never been really hurt in any fight, with exception of the flash knockdown against Manny, so Tszyu is not going to KO Thurman. I believe that Tszyu can possibly out box Thurman but Thurman is a skilled boxer in his own right. I would not want to be the oddsmaker on this one.
You have some great points, but I believe that Thurman is way more skilled, technically and fundamentally sound and possess a higher ring IQ than tim! I believe tim will be the stronger of the two in the ring but I believe that if Thurman can correctly carry that power to 154, then possibly he could possess the more thump in his punches! That’s just my opinion though!
