- First I just want to thank everyone that came to the meetup and made it such an awesome day! :D Shuffling, hanging around in Oslo with friends, eating stuff etc. Really was a great time! :D
Now I will be moving to Denmark soon, but I hope some of you keep the shuffle scene alive while I'm away ^^ :)

This is excellent, it's a lot of Charleston moves reinvented. Search for "charleston style, proper sync" , somebody has taken old footage of the Charleston and put it to Daft Punk.
Yes, it's a load of Charleston moves reinvented.
People have been dancing those moves since the 1920s, the only difference is the music.
Of course it's defined by it's origin. Furthermore, I was doing this back in the early 90s, it is of my generation.
***** yes, shuffling may have been created in the rave scene but it also uses elements of older styles of dance. Like he said, the Charleston has been reinvented to be used in shuffling by many. Neither you nor he are wrong :)
Learn a few 20s and 30s Charleston moves and play some Parov Stelar, you'll be surprised with the similarity.
