This song really demonstrates the BigBang way! Everyone gets their moment and time to shine, not being afraid to let another person have the "Wow!" moment! All the members of BigBang have really diverse voices and sounds, so Taeyang already has a lot of experience knowing how to make two voices really complement each other despite their differences and unique qualities. Of course, that's always made easier when working with someone of Jimin's caliber! It's really cool to see two legends from two different generations of Kpop coming together like this!

@@MandyMoon12 It's funny, because as a long time VIP, I didn't think anything about them having the same amount of time until seeing people less familiar with BigBang talk about how surprised they were! I can't really think of any BigBang song where someone was left out or hidden in the background. Even when they've done performances with fans, they made sure the fan gets time to really feel like a star on equal footing with them! And I'm happy Taeyang was able to give Jimin fans something even greater to enjoy than they were expecting. 😊
Did you see Sugas interview with him over on the Bangtan TV channel? I can't spell it for the life of me. But I knew nothing of Taeyang, and it was so amazing hearing the stories about the song, and Suga being in awe the entire time time.
I'd seen some clips of it, but finally watched the whole thing after seeing your comment! They were really sweet! I don't follow BTS much, so I didn't know Suga was out of character until seeing comments surprised by it. That was really endearing!
I have seen the BTS members be in fanboy mode around BigBang before though! There's a video that pops up if you search for "BTS sits with BigBang", where a couple of the BB members didn't have their usual seat in the front at an event, and BTS made room for them. It was funny and cute to see them trying to play it cool while internally screaming, squishing together and practically sitting on top of each other so BB could sit comfortably. It's nice to see them finally have the chance to become friends!❤

Sorry but being shirtless is one of Taeyang trademark 😅 You may have to buy a magazine if you want to see Jimin without a shirt . It is a good colab and this is how BigBang works , they make sure everyone shines. If you get to watch the performance video of Ringa Linga you will see how dance crew members get their moments despite the fact that Taeyang is the star , is his song . They are not there just to make him look good . There is also a performance with a fan of his song Eyes Nose Lips for a TV show called Fantastic Duo. You should see the way he supports her and let her show her voice. Apart from the original MV for Eyes Nose Lips , there are 2 other versions that I love , the Fantastic Duo performance and the Tablo & Taeyang colab. The english version of Eyes Nose Lips Tablo wrote is incredibile

I think i mentioned this on patreon but to think this song wasn't even the original song jimin was supposed to feature on. The producer called Taeyang up last second saying its not right for Jimin and they changed to this song. I say they made the right move. They both slayed it, I love seeing them together.

These two really compliment each other. They are both great singers and dancers. This is a boppy song which suits them perfectly. Taeyang probably wins on the muscle stakes but if Jimin had stripped off his shirt he would’ve displayed some tidy muscles too. I had to laugh at you getting excited when you thought it was Jimin shirtless.

I agree that this is an excellent collaboration, They perfectly duetted throughout most of the song, their vocals blending very well, and I'm glad that they made excellent use of Jimin's utterly unique vocals in his bridge solo with his unique delivery of his heavenly soft voice, allowing him to shine softly, without dominating taeyang's solo song, like Youjeen's vocals dominated and outshined RM in Wild Flower (but no shade towards Youjeen and her outstanding and powerful lovely vocals in WF, as I accept that that is what RM apparently wanted for his art to become it's best version.)

Honestly, you won't regret it. I love the fact that Taeyang was JImin's idol when BTS was just starting out. I think BIGBANG influenced a lot of the 3rd gen groups. Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. Eyes, Nose, Lips by Taeyang i heard for the 1st time a few weeks ago. I love this song. I hear Taeyang is always naked, snorts. I like Wedding Dress by him too. Good song. Sad video though. Taemin is Jimin's pal but he is also an idol Jimin looks up too besides Taeyang(of Big Bang). Taemin is from Shinee. He is the maknae of the group. Taemin has a lot of solo's and I recently started checking him out more. Taemin is now my bias actually. 😅Jimin got so much inspo from him but he is still a different artist. It's so fascinating to see the similarities and differences. Taeyang I don't know much about but I hope to learn more. I now know he is married and is a dad. He has been gone for 6 years. It is difficult for a feature artist to get a lot of lines on a BTS song where everyone sings. Have to remember that there is 7 people that need their part in the song and then you add one more. It is so much easier with a collab of two people but I love the fact that Taeyang gave him that much time. Taeyang treated Jimin right and I think he has or is starting to have a good friendship with Jimin and maybe some of the other BTS members. From what Taeyang shared, their sceduals didn’t overlap so did not know Jimin even wanted to collab one day but after he came back from military, they met at some privet events. Taeyang was even at J Hopes album drop party.
Well all bts members are fans of bigbang while jimin,suga and Rm particular are a fan of taeyang more so yeah, its a privilage to sing with any bigbang members even bts are popular remember before bts became well known they are typical fanboy that there dream will come true

It was teddy who suggested he collab with Jimin in 2020, Taeyang been thinking about it for 2 yrs then last year he met up with bts members during private parties and events and he talked to Jimin and suggested a collab, Jimin said yes. He said these during the release.

Then in 2020 Teddy told him people would be thrilled if Taeyang & Jimin collab and that idea stayed on his mind for 2 yrs so when they finally be able to personally meet up, he asked Jimin about it. I expect Jimin was so thrilled, that's his earlier role model although for a very long time now he keeps saying his role model/idol is himself now. Taeyang already is an kpop icon that left deep impression on young Jimin. I actually want to know more about their meetings. Must be fun lol

Taeyang fell in love with an actress 2 years older than him, she appeared on one of this videos. That was it for him, he never loved anyone else. Check out his Eyes, Nose, Lips video: that's her, Took him 7-8 years to get her to marry him. Score!!! He won her over in the end. They just had a baby.
I discovered BTS during the pandemic and while I consider myself Army I haven't really branched out to other Kpop groups. I didn't know what to expect not being familiar with Taeyang, but Jimin is seriously an amazing artist/entertainer/ethereal being and if Taeyang was his idol back in the day then he just had to have skills. I was very happy with this collaboration because it really allowed them both to shine and had to have been a dream come true for Jimin. It's been stuck in my head since its debut, so its a real vibe.
