Being an Indian (most of us are by default vegetarian) I’m blown away by your wide variety of vegetarian dishes. Honestly wasn’t expecting that...mixed vegetables and salads, fresh and ready to eat..God bless Russia. Love and respect 💛💛

You guys have come such a long way since the 80s. Completely unbelievable but true. I could see people moving to Russia with those convenience that are available. No doubt!.
More and more people in Russia do not want to live as in the West. Work hard, have high taxes, Bank dependence and aggressive LGBT propaganda, including among minors. The more we learn about life in the West, the more we understand that we are different and begin to appreciate our country more and more. I wonder in what sphere Russia has lagged behind the West in space research, in nuclear energy,democracy ?

@@tturner12341 US standards do not suit us- we prefer not genetically modified food with little artificial flavours, most our children in good families have never tasted McDonalds food, I know families from Russia living in America who travel a long way to buy ecologically secure food, its difficult to find one in the neighbourhood, be sure, American isnt always the best

The more YT I see, the more I see that the world is so much more complex and that peoples of the world share more than not.
This is very common in US as both parents work, only rather than food from prepared cafeteria we purchase fast food foods or frozen food. Being retired I get food every week and prepare it at home. Good eating.

That looks very much like the prepared food section in larger grocery stores here in the states. They even use the same style of packaging. Pretty cool ! 😃

Videos like this are boon for travellers, who may have peculiar food needs and don't want to shell big amount in fancy restaurants. Custom ordering in restaurants comes at a cost.
I liked the idea of readymade food packets. Just bring them to your hotel and eat. And lots of choices for vegetarians.

Food is cheaper in Russia. Here in New York City that sandwich would run depending on the location, from six to eight dollars!
Yes, but our salaries are different. The purchasing power of one dollar is different. For example, to paint a bench, an American will ask for $ 50, and a Russian for only $ 5. The work is the same but costs differently. And so in everything - to build an airplane, tank, building, etc. .. Therefore, the Russians do not consider this food cheap.
I eat meat, plenty of food for sale I would buy.

Prices for usually about the same amount of food is on avg. 3x more expensive here which surprises me. Looks like the prices are fairly well and the same structure on everything. I’m jealous!

After watching this video , i have got the urge to go visit Russia. My language proficiency is steadily improving but financially wise i am not ready yet. I keep it in my heart that i will land myself one day.

Comparing to Finland, everything is quite cheap.

The cost of living in Australia is quite high Also the wages have stagnated the last few years
In Filand the wages are way bigger. Don't compare two countries after their prices. The prices are smaller because the salaries are lower.

That is a nice looking store and the take out food is looking great and I love getting some of it when I don't feel like cooking up anything. That store have a nice collection of different cooked food and reminding me of the stores here which serve ready to eat food in store.

In NYC every item you have touched for ,$1.00 would be at least 5 dollars. Deli counter food is very expensive here. That sandwich would be $8.00

Your grocery store looks just like ours in U.S.A. except ingredients in sandwiches , salads put together differently but many things are simiiar. We also call it supermarket. Ham and cheese wraps, Yum We even have the display boxes at the Deli 1 cup, 1 pint, etc.
