WALK AROUND CHAR & REVIEW OF THIS MASSIVE CUSTOM TOURING MOTORBIKE ITS NOT A V4 SORRY GUYS THOUGHT COZ IT HAD 4 PLUGS IT WAS A V4 BUT ITS A TWIN A VERY BIG TWIN LOL
I have a vulcan 1600. I love it. My wife enjoys the ride on the back of it. It is a great bike. will cruise all day at 70 to 75 MPH, with no strain on the engine. Love my vulcan 1600.
@@marksavage Thanks for the reply. I just got back from a 160 mile ride. Beautiful day. Finally, no rain. It has been raining for about 3 weeks now. We live in north central Florida. Just found you and subbed. Thanks for the videos
HI bud thanks for watching, tyeres loads of guys that do videos of them going along the road for miles thas i find them very boring, was toad to do vloging so may look into that lol ass for mot yes it would not pass so i'd just take them back off or you can tape them up!, i had other that seemed a lot more secure but i'll prob look into it mark
I've been looking at this bike for a while now, I'm not sure, you said it will still nicely at 60 miles an hour. I need a bike that will sit comfortably at 70 miles an hour. I plan on doing big trips including lots of motorway riding. How does it cope with it? Thanks?
Don't think I'd like to go that speed on this bud I've done high speeds on gsxr and the zzr1400 like big speed !! But they are made for it These no bud defo not ,like the first big corner or stopping quickly Your brave bud
Hi Mark, Hows the bike going? Still recommend it as a good touring / cruiser ? I'm looking at getting one myself. What are the bad points that you have come across? Cheers
they are heavy to move around and don't bank that well round corners, other than that you feel king of the road and you feel you have all the time in the world when riding it check out my other few videos on this bike there are 3 so type in vn1500 mark savage and you get to see more if it, the wife oddly didn't love it like she did with the xvs 1300 I had thanks for watching I have many other videos on bikes you might like to watch, v max, rocket 2300 and many more mark
Gary Booker mate before trying to belittling me how about. Looking it up on google And typing in kawasaki vn1600 and you see it says meanstreak and also says what the VN says too It also had it also had it all n the log book But thanks for watching
The only difference between the Nomad and the mean streak is the tour package and exhaust and handlebars Fender and instrument cluster everything else is exactly the same.
No not really my mate had the 900 and he was 18 stone and used to have his wife with him every day Me I like a bigger engine Like this and also have the xvs1300 which we did a 500 mile round trip and it was great
@@marksavage yeah I thought about it . You can turn a meanstreak to a nomad by adding saddle bags and wind shield so I believe you bro. I have an 04 meanstreak just learning how to ride

Looks super comfy, never been on a big touring bike. You certainly get to ride a good selection of bikes. I was going to sat screen off 😱
She's stunning mark! Must say to my eyes it looks better without the screen. But I bet its nice to have while cruising
Matt Gibson defo and thanks for watching bud
Mark
I'm not a huge fan of having a screen on, however i have to admit that it did look rather smart when it was one. Lovely looking bike.
Tristam Shires I feel the same bud and total agree it does look good on the vn1600
Thanks for the comment an watching
Mark
It looks like a choke, but it's a fast idle device as it's fuel injected
Great review, and you seem like one of the good guys. Cheers
Thanks bud I do have a few videos on this bike on my channel you might like to watch
@@marksavage I have!
Lovely bike
Very informative thank you .😊
i have the screen on, great for bugs and gravel flying...
Think you should do some videos of yourself out riding your bikes. Also would the lights not being wired in, fail an MOT?

Looks better with the screen mate, not sure about the lights.
can you do the alps on it with the tight turns
@user-gv3bt5mi3o it's a great bike and with a wide turn it would get round but !!, an adventure bike would be more suitable
I've had mine up to 110
Don't think I'd like to go that speed on this bud

P.s I have this same bike and love it to death..
I have the mean streak, it looks very different. The mean streak also has upside down forks and different rims/tires for a more sport-like riding.
@@RantDuJour the only real difference is cosmetics underneath the tank and fenders it's the same bike
screen on !
Yea I was a lot better when riding and a lot less flys in my face pmsl take care bud
Mark,is the vn900 too underpowered to take a pillion
No not really my mate had the 900 and he was 18 stone and used to have his wife with him every day

totally agree I love having a bigger screen , thanks for watching bud load more videos to watch
Did you say 400 kilos or did you mean pounds Sir?
A dry weight of 676.8 pounds and that's without a few extras !!
It's a v twin not a v four!
kjrutter17 the 4 plugs confused me lol
Yes it’s a v twin thanks for the correction

No such thing as a nomad mean streak bro

I wouldn't have said it otherwise
However still a great bike bud
