When you hear Bobcat speak normally, you realise what a good character actor he is, even though the character is comedic and ridiculous. The stammering and tics and overall delivery is incredible.
They don’t make movies like this anymore and it’s a shame!! Comedy gold , lighthearted and funny without all the cgi or effects used today , just actors acting and being funny!! A place for everything but these were so amazing and original at the time!
The 80's produced the BEST comedy movies like Police Academies, as well as other greats starring Steve Martin, Richard Pryor, and Gene Wilder. Another equally great is Trading Places. The last great was Bowfinger, but that was in the 1990's
I can't get over how damn beautiful Corinne Boher was. Unconventional beauty, for sure... some features of her face made her look like the real life translation of a Disney princess.
So funny the police academy movies are always a classic to watch really enjoy and appreciate you guys thanks for a good laugh best wishes to everyone ! Joe
David graf and bubba Smith and the other actors and actresses who passed away my thoughts are with your family you may be gone but not forgotten your legacy of laughter still continues on love you guys the police academy movies always a classic appreciate you guys you guys rock thanks ! Joe
We used to go watch them film this movie on our lunch breaks when we were in high school. The old insane asylum got a lot of use out of it for filming when it closed down. That pool they used in the movie was actually built from scratch with a buttload of plywood in this recessed area of what is a park now.
7:01 In the Italian dub, after the *Tom Cruise* line, Zed says: "I said ' a little ' !" when Sweetchuck is strangling him and I think that's a funny addition to the joke, since it implies Zed thinks is the comparison that offendeds him.
this man deserve so much Oscar !!! one by year people forget it since 1987:))))) hello from France (look to the french version the dubbing actor is priceless!! (here in France we have the best dubbing)
He plays that wigged out charachter so well you forget it's not how he really is in real life or just don't realize it it until you see him in an interview then you see that in fact Bobcat is one smart cat
Thank goodness for the subtitles because I couldn't understand a bl00dy word of this. I'm truly surprised that you can get a 7 min vid of the 'Best Bits' from this Movie, personally I was expecting 23 seconds tops .
Was this the one where Proctor goes into a portable john and Mahoney with a crane picks it and Proctor up, setting him down on in a packed stadium? The top comes off and when the National Anthem is played he stands up, pants still down?
Considering that Zed was "running on fumes" (glue or gasoline or whatever else he was sniffing) he was very articulate. Compared to most people nowadays who can not even say two sentences without using the word "like" 4-5 times, this guy is a legendary artifact of delinquency.
I see I made a typo on the timestamp in my comment - it's 4:03. I'll make a new comment because if I edit this one I'll lose the heart I just got on it.

Bobcat stole that franchise. :)
Zed hit the jackpot with the girl. Deserved it.
Yeah maybe zed having a nice girl could make him a more of better person
@@badreedinedjellali1328 He was going to marry that old lady in the second film.

Sure don't, sadly.
Leader: "Put your hands up"
Proctor: "Oh, Simon didn't say!"
Criminal #2: "No, but Smith & Wesson does."
I remember going to see this at the theater. My grandma snuck in some microwave popcorn in her purse. Good times.
so your grandma was a criminal??
Nothing beats a grandmas love
was the microwave a thing then? i thought they did not exist then....
then again we got the microwave pretty late, because it was weird.
The best of the 80's!
David Spade @1:54 ......... Zed playing the guitar killed me 🤣
I miss these older comedy movies 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I was dying as a kid seeing the Zed scenes :,)
I can't get over how damn beautiful Corinne Boher was. Unconventional beauty, for sure... some features of her face made her look like the real life translation of a Disney princess.

Zed was always my favorite character. Listen to his stand up at times on xm when they would play it
I laughed so much as a kid .He was the best .why I loved watching police academy. When he screams down door lol
I can't believe they didn't add Callahan in the pool. That was the best scene in the franchise. 👏
God my teen years have never been more beautiful

My favorite 2 hilarious scenes will always be Harris talking with helium in voice and Zed swinging Sweetchuck into the net
Police Academy my favorite new recruits! I watched them over & over as a kid and as an adult..never gets old.. LMAO!
Ahh the Police Academy... good times! Police Academy 4 has the best intro of all
What I find it so hilarious is Harris can see very clearly Mace written in red on the can and he still go for it without flinching! 🤣🤣🤣
Mickey he's dead he killed him what a line 😂❤
best comedy of the 80s.

I love the police academy movies.
“MICKEY! HE’S DEAD!”
😂
The part about him being the family pet got me 🤣
Bobcat was just great as Zed. xx
When I was a kid, I thought Bobcat Goldthwait and Ozzy Osborne was the same person.
The difference is Bobcat’s character is naturally fucked up, Ozzie abused drugs and became fucked up…remember that!
Zed is a modern classic of people communicating as most can't have a conversation and txt
this man deserve so much Oscar !!! one by year people forget it since 1987:))))) hello from France (look to the french version the dubbing actor is priceless!! (here in France we have the best dubbing)
This movie never gets old.
Zed playing the guitar and harmonica 🤣
This was the most family friendly of the Police Academy movies..
He plays that wigged out charachter so well you forget it's not how he really is in real life or just don't realize it it until you see him in an interview then you see that in fact Bobcat is one smart cat
Like a family heirloom ..cracks me up everytime
Thanks for the memories
Era chica y el fin de semana alquilabamos en wl video club estas películas, que nostalgia ❤️❤️❤️❤️
There's no team like the one of Zed & Sweetchuck.
Sweetchuck trying to take down house 😂😂
These were awesome films
I really hope that bobcat knows how good and important he was in this series. This was my childhood. Thank you
He’s a really nice fish. He looks a little like you! Hilarious everytime!
Bob's acting is sooo underrated 😅

Bobcat Goldthwait😂😂❤
*MICKEY!*
Good old times
Can't beat the classics
These were the best nonsense movies when I was a young 12 year old in the 80’s. It was on HBO every other night.
Zed's got a speaking disorder.
Bob Goldthwait and his Jean Jean made a machine - ROFL !!!
Zed was like my cousin Joey.
Corinne Bohrer ❤️ I mean I was prob only 10 or 12 but back then I knew what I would like. Lol so pretty. Then and looking back now.
Bobcat is hilarious! Grew up on P.A. movies. Is that possible?
Como olvidar esta divertida serie de los 80
I don’t understand the character but I adore him. Hilarious
The best one! Fight me on it!
A lot more of the Capt. Harris stuff is funny like when he mocked Zed:
*"UH, WE WERE JUS LIKE A' TALKIN' Someplace else!!"*
4:04 - (laughing hysterically).
Domniile voastre mi-ați trimis asta....😂🥰
Da, s-au iubit până la leșin .... 🥰😜
Great actor !!!
i love this movie
Was the blue oyster in this one? Lol. They bar always cracks me up lol 😂
Yes, this was the last time they showed it. This time it is Harris and Proctor who are trapped in it.
Considering that Zed was "running on fumes" (glue or gasoline or whatever else he was sniffing) he was very articulate. Compared to most people nowadays who can not even say two sentences without using the word "like" 4-5 times, this guy is a legendary artifact of delinquency.

Steve Guttenberg's last ever appearance on the 'Police Academy' outing.
It was also Bobcat's last appearance too. Same with Tim Kazurinsky.
4:03 "Now that is the way it's done in Captain Harris' precinct. Aaaaaaah!"
Super actorul....🤭😂
Isn't this also the one where all the international commandants start acting like Lassard? That was a great scene too.
Liked his character in this films 🎥
Shit funny as hell
