    Hi, Amy! Just got chance to watch the video - I have a few comments:
    1 - luv your textiles, they’re all so nice to look at... think I need some blanket binding in my stash!!!
    2 - thank you for sharing your ideas, and having such a nice variety of examples to show us
    3 - thank you for sharing your sources (and thereby helping out other sellers, too)
    4 - your video quality looks so nice! Clean desk, good lighting, tidy piles of fabrics, samples at the ready to show, clear communication... you make it such a pleasure to watch your videos! I’m sure it takes a lot of time for planning, filming and editing/uploading - let me tell you, it’s appreciated that you have this free content via CZcams!

      Hi! Thank you so much!! My intro to making a junk journal is actually an online course. It is self-paced recorded videos, so you can take your time to go through it and rewatch whenever you wish! It is a $37 course on how to make a Little Golden Book cover and how to sew in the signatures. If you want to check it out, it's at kittywittyacademy.podia.com. No pressure! Just wanted to share! Please let me know if you have any questions! Thank you for watching! 🤗💖💖💖

    Great ideas and inspiration... thanks! Can you tell me what brand of double-sided adhesive you use? I have Scotch DS tape, but not sure if that is strong enough. Also, great vintage pattern covers. Do you scan and copy those so that you are not using the original? I noticed one had pink polka dot paper on the backside. If you scan them, do you sell the digitals somewhere? Again, thanks for sharing. Ronda

    • @KittywittyPapercraft
      @KittywittyPapercraft  Před 4 lety +3

      Hi Ronda! Thank you for your questions! I use tape by AJ Sign World sold on Amazon. I have it listed in my "Favorite Craft Supplies" link I will add to the description box! As far as the covers...I only use the original vintage envelopes, not scans or copies. The illustrations on them are still under copyright, so it's illegal to make copies of the envelopes to use in things you sell. The pink polka dot paper you saw is what I lined the inside of the envelope with after I opened it up to make it into a cover! Please let me know if you have any questions! Thank you for watching!! 🤗💗💗💗💗

      @@KittywittyPapercraft I hadn't even thought of copyright infringements... but it is someone's artwork for sure. Thanks for sending me in the right direction for the tape!

    I love everything you do but here is a little tip. Before you make a video, look through the journals you have to see what fabrics you used in what journal and set them together or close to what fabric also writing down on a sheet of paper before in order of what you want to discuss or say next. It's so much easier that way or maybe you like to wing it. Either way, thank you for showing us some of your journal making ideas. Appreciate them so much. God bless!

    • @KittywittyPapercraft
      @KittywittyPapercraft  Před 4 lety +1

      Thank you, Yvette! I was going to do what you suggested actually, but I had several journals that had examples of several of the pocket types and it was taking longer to write it all down, so I figured I'd figure it out as I went along! I don't think I did too bad remembering! 😄 Thank you for watching!! 🤗💕💗💕💗💕

    Hi I enjoyed your video. Lots of great information. I do have a question to you or others who watch the videos, at time stamp: 9:02, do you know the name of this quilt? Mabe ask your friend who gave them to you? Thanks.

  • @bellaannecgoff2335
    @bellaannecgoff2335 Před 4 lety

    When measuring the fabrics, do you add a certain amount to the measurements to make sure your pockets are loose enough to put something in them?

    • @KittywittyPapercraft
      @KittywittyPapercraft  Před 4 lety +1

      Hi! No, I actually make the pockets the exact width of the page so the pocket is really snug! I find that if the pocket has any extra space, the items I put in them slide around too much! Hope that helps! Oh, I also usually cut the pocket wider than the page (height and width) and then trim off the excess. I find if I measure and cut first, I'm often off a bit and this way I know I've covered the whole space I want to with the pocket! 🤗💕💕💕💕
