It’s her past experience with those kids on halloween which ultimately made her fall to her death, make her believe all kids are out to make her life unbearable and unpleasant which Jenny, DJ and Chowder weren’t trying to do.
Also I think being in that circus and having tomatoes thrown at her also caused her to become aggressive and lash out at people including those kids. Constance wasn’t a monster. She just had a horrible life.
A very creative and unique take on the haunted house genre. How many haunted house movies actually have the house coming to life and chasing the protagonists?
Uhh…did anybody remember the part where the girl tried to call her mother and tell her that Constance tried to eat her only for her mom to not believe her. Also, they tried to call the police about Constance and look how that turned out. Even Z the baby sitter didn’t believe them. Also, Constance was very good a deceiving people.
OMG imagine if someone made a courage the cowardly dog parody of this movie Muriel being constance, ustace being nevercracker courage and 2 other characters from the show be the kids
The part i enjoy the most is how chowder operates the machine as its treated as some kind of kind weapon in a game and honestly it just really impresses me
Ok look so I remember watching this when I was kid and then now looking back on this now, I just realized that when she was sliding down the hole, it really was similar to her falling down the hole when she was alive, minus the cement Also, can we just imagine how much trauma these kids probably faced like...they are just kids who successfully destroyed a large monster house but like...it's pretty scary...
Knowing the back story, despite how absurd and goofy the entire premise is, it's a little hearbreaking to see Mr Nebbercracker throw a brick at Constance. It's a good callback to the scene where the kids hit her with eggs, and instead of him defending her, he is defending the kids. A really good scene in a really silly movie.
When i was super young i felt scared to sleep since i didn't know what sudden lights coming from cracks at my curtain at night were and when i watched this movie i thought the lights were street lamps and that my apartment was moving around the town and i would suddenly be eaten by my own home

The biggest issue I don’t get in this movie is that all of the commotion, the kids screaming, the house transforming into a monster in the open, its roar, and even when it crawled out, no one in the neighborhood noticed. I MEAN COME ON!!!
I can only imagine the look on everyone's faces the next day, seeing that a house vanished overnight leaving nothing behind but a huge smoldering hole, and multiple streets completely destroyed, especially seeing that the path of destruction goes right from the old man's house to the construction site a couple blocks away.
The logic of this movie: Nobody in the neighbourhood doesn't hear or notice a monstorous sentient house roaring, capturing people, moving around and causing destruction in it's path

Well she probably got all the energy from the cities electricity or from the toys Mr. Nebblecracker threw in the basement . Ghost can drain energy from electrical equipment or other humans to do basic thing such as move objects around. (According to ghost hunters and paranormal experts) if you ever watch a paranormal investigation video, they always bring up how they have to bring extra batteries for their cameras due to ghost draining them. And for humans, you’ll know if a ghost is draining your energy when you go to a haunted location and you suddenly start to feel dizzy or sick.
