- Revelation 4 gives us a look at the throne room of God. As we read John’s description, we see the beauty, grandeur and majesty that awaits us. We will see the centrality of God in the midst of His universe and in the midst of His heaven. And like the elders and the angels, we will all worship God and praise him ceaselessly because everything we have is derived from the Almighty.

I used to be fearful of reading revelations but your message is comforting. Thank you
I agree we can not just dismiss near death experience but it is wrong to make doctrines out of them. I was at the bed side when my uncle was dying shout fire, fire, please tell them to take away the fire. The man lived reckless life while alive! It is over 30 years now that experience has never left me. It just helped to find God and believe in Jesus firmly.
I lean towards the 24 as being the 12 tribes and the 12 apostles, except as the Apostle John witnessing this scene, is he seeing his future self sitting on one of those apostle thrones?
