Paying for the bathroom: did you ever hear someone say, “I got to spend a penny” (British for use the bathroom)? You would have to put a penny in a slot on the toilet cubicle door and turn a knob to be able to get in. As a kid I thought it was great fun; I guess I was easily pleased 😂

The trick is not to use ATM's. If you get your cash out at the local shopping centre you go to when purchasing some goods, it is free. If I buy something small like a packet of chips for $4, and go through a checkout, I can take cash out for, say, $100. Going into a bank, as opposed to using an ATM, it's free too.

You would probably be refused in a newsagent or deli.

I haven't got back in the habit of cash post-Covid restrictions. My hairdresser's EFTPOS wasn't working one day, discovered as I was trying to pay. here is 10 small tips to any US citizen that wants to come to Australia.
    1. leave your attitude along with your guns at the departure lounge.
    2. don't panic! it will be there waiting for you when you get back, we don't want it.
    3. you cannot buy, nor carry a gun over here, this is not the wild west as it is in the USA.
    4. enjoy the sites the food and the different cultures.
    5. Australia has a culture, they have song, dance and food and we are proud of it.
    6. The US has, Levi's jeans, McDonalds, mass shootings, guns and bombs and you are proud of it?
    7. take lots of photo's, buy the occasional souvenir.
    8. when you get back to the US "the home of the brave and the free," pick up your gun and your attitude, you will notice it is still there in tact as you left it.
    9. Show your friends the photo's and tell them you had a nice time.
    10. Oh and don't forget to tell your friends you experienced real freedom for the first time in your life not having to carry a gun!

    • @TheLoganr80

Not entirely correct. You can buy and own firearms in Australia if you meet the government enforced regulations. As a general citizen, you can't carry a gun in public however police, security and private investigators are allowed to carry wherever they go as part of their job.
I don't understand what you are trying to achieve with point 6. Attacking Americans? The fact is that throughout history, the people with the ability to defend themselves have lived far longer and more prosperous lives than those who didn't. That's because those who didn't usually died.

I am insulted that it took them until the 49th Country to get here. Two of my children go to Bali for a holiday all of the time with their families. You get a private villa with your own pool for nearly nothing. It is very cheap to do anything and you couldn’t pay me to go there. My son came back with Sepsis last time and almost lost his legs because he went to a 3rd world Country and got more tattoos. The Doctors still do not believe he is alive and well. The two in this video did not do much homework on Bali before they went there.
At least they picked the best City to start in and you say it right. Melbin or melben or Melburn all work. I hope they were prepared for 4 seasons in a day. You dress for summer, take a coat and an umbrella. Three of my kids still live there, last week and it is Summer now they had 12C and rain, this week they are dying from a heat wave with 34C today. I loved that City and I still miss it a little. Now I live in the Sub Tropics on the Great Barrier Reef. The ocean is in front of my house, it is hard to do but someone has to.😂
