Lend out notebooks. What a novel idea... you could, I would propose, have a notebook that gets passed around a group to have a running story that all contribute to. The library card would be like an index of who wrote in it from what page to what page or something. I think you just came up with a brilliant idea, lending out a notebook. Lol

Wonderful video concept Nik! Could you show us easy/cost-effective ways to make the gold titles on the spines? I know u have the fancy heat lettering heavy tool stampers.

First time viewer. Wow! What wonderful books! Where did you find those? Buy or build? Antique or new? Wonderful format!
She makes them all. Sometimes they are from books she recycles others she makes from scratch. Nik is SUPER talented and fun to watch.
How did you add a title in gold to the spine as you showed in the beginning? Is there a tutorial or something? I’ve been glueing paper titles on the spine but would prefer something more book- like such as your example. Thanks!

Where can I buy the scoring board to make folded pockets. I am so excited to learn about book binding,/book making.
Linda, I know Martha Stewart puts out a scoring board. I’m not sure if Recollections or other craft company puts one out. They’re really helpful.
Buy one at any US craft store (Joann, Michaels). You can buy online. I have a Martha Stewart and a smaller one from We R Memory Keepers. There’s another brand called Scor-Pal. Amazon sells scoring boards. Good luck!
