Do you know that song that goes what a friend we have in Jesus? Well, what a good friend I have in my husband! He has transformed our upstairs den into this serene place for us to meet and get a space free from the kids at the end of the night. Showing me that he wants to prioritize not just our marriage, but us as individuals and most importantly to me our friendship, the foundation that this marriage was built on. It creates this sense of security and comfort, that no one can take away from me -like wow, my friend truly loves me and loves being in relationship with me.
Joe, you doing this for us, has truly made me look at my relationship with Jesus in a different way. When you set up the upstairs with the candles, it’s clean, music and the ambience, the fireplace on the TV--it draws me closer to where you are. If I’m busy with the kids and with work and it starts to get dark outside, I remember the last time we came together in that space and it kind of seduces me back up there to where you are. Similarly when I think about the last time I was with Jesus and the things that we did together and the fun that we had it draws me closer to him. But now I’m realizing that relationship in itself is what brings us closer together is what keeps me coming back to him. And I’m just grateful that Gods love that He has in him is being poured out to you for you to pour out to me. Thank you so much Joe for staying in relationship with our Father and loving me the way that He loves me. You really really really are so so special to me.

I love you guys so much. I told my husband that my baby want count went from 2 to 8 because I want our children to grow up with lots of siblings and a house full of noise with the presence of God in their hearts. You guys are so fun to watch and I love seeing how your family grows.
It is do able but you will need a lot of Jesus in that. Big family are fun. I come from on.

2023, You and your husband have grown so much over the years. I feel the trip your family took to Korea was inspiring. It affected each one of you in a positive way I can see the growth; especially in your son. Happy Holidays to you and yours.
I love to see a great young family...I'm proud of you both and your children! Such love and compassion. Alena just one comment from a Grandma who had a special husband now deceased. When Joe asks for quiet time together...and does the whole setup..don't complain, and tell the kids NO interruptions for at least 30 min...UNLESS AN EMERGENCY. My kids are grown with their own families and I wish I could have made more time to be a couple without the kids and without always correcting whats wrong and interrupting the moment.. instead of being present in the moment. All I have are memories now and good ones. But it can always be better..So cherish the intimate times as spouses 100% because once the kids are grown and away you want no regrets! Ok Gma is done...enjoy your special family...much love to you all❤

You’re the most warm, comforting beautiful fun, loving family. I just adore watching you guys grow up it is so heartwarming because it’s clean and loving and do crazy dysfunction. It’s just loving your kids. Loving your husband loving yourself educating your kids and yourself. This is just so wonderful I love watching you guys Grow up and now some of the kids are leaving home going to school. I only had one child and she’s 23 now but I know the feeling when they leave and go to school but you got a long way to go cause you got a lot of them so you’ll have lots of fun for years and years.
