And apologies for the mistake! I didn't give it much thought when I made a statement about Vasco da Gama. But thank you for pointing it out in the comments! I've fixed it in the caption but apart from that, there isn't much I can do at this point! Thanks for understanding!

Hi
Thanks for the info.Sea routes to India had existed much before the Portuguese, as can be seen in Kerala Jewish ,Arabic tradition. The Parsis arrived in Gujarat by sea. India also had trade routes with Chinese not only through the silk route .
@@SeethaGopalakrishna thank you for your input.. will look it up!
Pls don't hurt our sentiment by saying vasco da gama discovered india, instead use he found alternative sea way from europe to India, by surpassing Turks.

Karnataka ❤️ One State. Many World's ❤️
The perfect tagline ❤️
I am new to karnataka....staying in bangalore....tell me some places in bangalore and around
The island's rust red beaches, coconut trees and picturesque views of the Arabian Sea are soothing. The sea looked beautiful in the vertical sunset light. This secluded island with a bright past is truly worth a visit.
You've described it so well ❤️
I just came across your video.
Thanks for sharing and showing our beautiful Karnataka which is underated state

That's great! Glad to hear that you are planning to visit Karnataka! :)
Beautiful! I hope more of your people will visit this hidden gem that would ease the influx of KA tourists to Goa.

Welcome aboard! And thank you!
Well made video. Thank you, girl😘
Thank you for watching 😊
I am loving this place!! Its a feeling!
Yayy!! Have fun 😊
Thanks for introducing this very unique place. Just as others have pointed, I want to tell you that Vasco De Gama did not discover India. He was perhaps the first European to have discovered a sea route to India, that too with the help of an Indian sailor. Indians have known the sea routes to Africa for a long time, perhaps since the time of Ravana.
Stunning sunset view.... With you in there..
Looks like sultry weather there and not wanting to visit.
@The Roving Heart... Enjoyed the vlog, where you have explained in detail, about this hidden gem. Thrilled to know about this Island in our nebouring district. More power to you for vlogging.👏🙌

The adorable Beauty exploring beautiful places...
That's what I live for :)
Thanks for d video.
Have been to this place twice when it was lesser known with the original owner.
Was great with tents and cabins with great trekking around and the little beach where we could fish!
Also enjoyed watching dolphins from the hilltop. Wonder if one can still see them?!
Nice review though rates have gone up so much
Wow! That is SO cool! I heard about the tents being set up before.. and yes, I've heard from the staff that you could see dolphins on some days.. but we weren't lucky enough to spot one.. and yes, it's quite expensive
View is excellent mind-blowing 👌👌❤️🙏
Yes indeed!
Thank you guys... I'm Gonna visit this island with my husband.
Have fun!
Stunning ✨️ nature and beautiful location 👌
LOVED YOURE SIMPLICTY AND HUMBLENESS IN THE VIDEO... NEW SUB
Thank you 😊
This is a great video dear. Your presence makes the island look more beautiful. What is the weather like at this place. When is this a good place to visit. I visited Mangalore and surroundings last year. Really beautiful state, lot of culture. Hope they keep it alive that way …..
Thank you for stopping by :) Like any coastal place, winters are usually much nicer and less humid. So anytime between October to February, should be a good time. However, In January for a couple of days, the resort is closed as locals from Karwar visit the temple to celebrate a village festival. You can book directly on booking.com. Link is in the description
Beautiful.
surely, l love visiting such places .again I am a passionate touristy
I'm sure you'll love it ☺️
Nice discovery.... Good review.
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice vlog and good to see kannada travellers promoting Karnataka tourism. Liked the way of story telling and the choice of background music and the editing. 20k per room looks expensive but if people can afford and they want to experience it can give a try once I feel.
Thank you for leaving a thoughtful comment. I'm glad you liked the video. And yes the price was high for me as well but the experience more than made up.. for me 😊Also, since I shared it with a friend, I only had to pay half the price from my side which is the only reason I found it relatively affordable!
@@TheRovingHeart dont you know kannada?.ninage kannada baralwa?

Amazing place..
I regret that I found this video this year I definitely want to explore this iland thank you so much Raksha for exploring our Karnataka places and showing this world 🙏🍀❤️
Beautiful place. Will visit sometime. I was there at Maldives for two years working at beautiful resort. Island life for visit, its fine, but staying for longer period will be little difficult.
I'm glad to hear it.. And I can understand what you mean.. That's the difference between people visiting and people living in "paradise". As the novelty factor runs away pretty quickly
@@TheRovingHeart Nice vlog❤Aamgele Karwar💕Beautiful Karwar👍
Wonderful Vlog.
Thank you 😊
beautiful
Thank you!
I have visited here what great experience
Indeed.. it's such a gem 💎
I’m from Karwar and I live here too. We grew up hearing plenty of stories about no one being allowed to visit the island except on the day of the Narasimha Temple jatra (fair) that falls on a particular full moon day.
We were told that the island was infested with snakes, and we believed 😂
Thanks for this video with no mention of those creatures 😅
Wow! That's interesting because I heard from someone else from Karwar who said that they used to go here often before it was taken over by Cintacor.
I've heard about the snakes but mostly in the context of you need to wear shoes to protect yourself but didn't find any when we walked around the island 🏝️Except for when an eagle caught a snake!
I am from karwar but visited kurumgad only during jatra
Yes, same here
It’s a hidden gem of Karnataka.. must visit this place once in lifetime.. please share the cost of this resort..
Yes indeed. A hidden gem. You'll find cost details in the description of the video :)
I like the way you narrate
Thank you 😊
yes. will visit this island
I hope you do! 😊
Definitely nice location
It really is!
Very nice. It's in Our state Karnataka.
That's right :)
