I doubt the plan will involve Eden directly (they would've made Eden mandatory by now if they were going to), but I fully expect them to "highly recommend" we do Eden before 6.5. I fully expect we'll get extra dialogue for doing it at the very least.
That Echo flashback being in first person... *squints in suspicion* I want Ryne, Gaia, Cyrella AND Unukalhai here for dealing with Zeromus. But if the big twist that Yoshi-P promised has yet to turn up then 6.5, and 6.55 especially is gonna be NUTS, especially if my headcanon works out...
I am SO curious what 6.5 is going to bring about. How exactly we're going to bring anything from the First powerful enough to contend with Zeromus (unless they make Eden required content), which bonuses those of who brought Unukalhai and Cyrella together, more Ryne content... and what the hell could possibly come next! Oh, and Fanfest coming soon... Oh boy oh boy oh boy, we FF14 fans are gonna eat good this summer!
Am also sad 6.4 ended on this note, really want to see what's next! >.< Fight was fun once I was able to actually zoom out. ^^; I'd just started playing FFXIV on the PS5, had less than a week to get the controls down... I died. A lot. (As tank, that's probably more significant.) Have since gotten better with the controls, though. I don't like the idea of Zero and Estinien training together. Not because any potential shipping or whatnot, but because, if gameplay mechanics have taught us anything, gear is a great chunk of our power level. I can't imagine Zero and Estinien fighting over Maiming gear. XD
Considering how Anglicized Azdaja's dragonspeak sounds compared to Nidhogg's she probably has a dub actress, which means she might be speaking common later on.
It was such a cool twost that golbez wad the hero in the 13th, but ye fell in battlr and hos second assumes his name and armor. Also the pov fladhback feels super intentional like he was our dhard in the 13th.
Man. When I first got to the 13th's moon, I thought we were gonna get a bait-and-switch. That Golbez would've abandoned Azdaja for becoming weakened during her time in the Void and used the younger and stronger Vrtra to become his shadow dragon. I did not think we were going to get the outcome we did.
He was good. The echo flashback from the first person pov is golbez. The guy who speaks is his friend who we see in the cutscenes who took up the armor and name and golbez after he fell. If anything the echo hits that the real Golbez was our shard in the 13th.
@@Blitzwaffen I'm not 100% sure about that. Durante (the one who speaks) is exactly how Golbez looks in The After Years. I'm guessing whoever is in the armor died and Durante took the armor and is using Golbez as a pseudonym
So I'm pretty sure the implication of the flashback and the continued Zenos thoughts is this. Original Golbez is one of our other shards, Durante (who takes up Golbez name and was Golbez one and only friend) is another shard of Zenos.
LMAO I have yet to try out Golbez EX, but I know the exact feeling of farming an EX and then going back to normal mode. Everything's so slow and the mechanics behave differently so you just run around tryina dodge stuff that ain't there. X'D (Was real bad about this with Hades EX)

my theorie is that the original Golbez(in the Cristal) is our part from the 13 world
