  • This deck is easily one of my favourite and most consistent decks that I usually use to climb up to Diamond with. While it does have some weaknesses like facing link monsters, its board is super easy to set up.
    Since it is quite strong and super fun, I love recording clips for it, which is why it's only been about a month since my last Ninja video. It's just too much fun.

    Great decklist, I haven't thought about using "Evenly Matched" now that I have 3 copies on YMD. This video helps me to improve my own Ninja deck.

      Thank you very much! I run evenly matched in the majority of my decks. It's just too good going second, except with a deck specialized in OTK ofc. On top of that it's "just" an SR

      @@HeyIamPaddy Indeed, when I first achieved Ninja Deck, I had zero "Evenly Matched", but now I have 3.

    Do you have a ninjas guide? Great games btw. Last question, how do you feel when going against meta decks with ninjas?

    • @HeyIamPaddy
      @HeyIamPaddy  Před 2 měsíci +2

      Thank you! I don't necessarily have a guide since ninjas rely quite heavily on freestyling but there are some combos I can list down here.
      As for the meta question: I haven't really fought snake eyes with this one, but it should do just fine since ninjas are about playing and interrupting on their turn. Interrupting certain cards on their turn, like ash, for example can sometimes win you the game.
      As for other meta decks: Ninjas are surprisingly competetive. I would honestly say that this is the most competetive structure deck you can get. Whenever I play ninjas I have a surprisingly easy time getting from plat to diamond but i'm sure that with enough practice and patience you might also hit master.
      Main combo:
      1. Summon Hanzo, search for Art of Duplication (unless you have it already, then you search for Art of Dancing Leaves, Notebook might also be considered if you have something in GY already and your opponent has cards on board)
      2. set possible disruptions and end turn
      3. Activate art of duplication, tribute hanzo and summon 1x face-up Mitsu, 1x face-up tobari & 1 face-DOWN tobari. (Mitsu is a monster negate if you can target one of your face down monsters & Tobari can fusion summon on your opponents turn)
      4. After you have activated Mitsu to interrupt your opponent, activate Tobari to go into Meizen (DO NOT CHAIN TOBARI TO MITSU OR MITSU WILL NOT RESOLVE)
      5. If your opponents activates and effect that summons a second monster, chain Meizen effect to summon Jioh, activate Jiohs effect and flip both of your opponents monsters face down (they CANNOT be flipped face-up by your opponent anymore)
      6. If you have Art of Dancing Leaves you can tribute one of your opponents face-down monsters to summon another ninja from your deck.
      Other important effects outside your main combo:
      - Tobari cannot be destroyed the turn it was special or flip summoned.
      - Tobari can discard itself to special summon another ninja from hand
      - If you have a ninja on board (EVEN FACE DOWN), you can special summon Mitsu & either contact fuse into Meizen or wait until your opponents turn to use its monster negating effect but then you can only contact fuse on your opponents turn if your face-down ninja was tobari
      - Both of Hanzo's effects are not once per turn BUT have "When" in the text, meaning they will not resolve unless it is either used NOT in a chain OR the first effect that resolves in a chain
      - Meizen's lingering effect is that all of your ninja monsters can attack your opponent directly!
      - ALL ninja monsters have 2 effects
      The general way of winning with Ninjas is as follows: disrupt your opponent by flipping their cards face down & attacking over them on the next turn with Meizens lingering effect.

      thank you!@@HeyIamPaddy
      I'm trying to build vs and the goal is to have a cheap but functional deck to run as I build up my gem economy to get enough dust to craft a full vs deck over the month. Is your decklist (or some variation) something i can build for cheap and work with as i build up my dust for vs?

    • @HeyIamPaddy
      @HeyIamPaddy  Před 2 měsíci +3

      Oh yes absolutely! most of the deck is 3x the ninja structure deck + some hand traps and staples here and there but you cant go wrong with trying to build an even cheaper version without much of the hand traps and just the 3x structure deck@@s1ght540

      Bro you ain't lying.. no cut from ole dude right here cuz he's deff pretty good but I have to say the people I play against litterally spend 10 min special summoning before I can even get a chance to draw a card. Then once they have filled the board up by the time I go to make a move all his monster effects and ash blossoms countering EVERY THING I DO.
