    And always wear a helmet, visor and nomex flight suit, gloves and sturdy footwear when flying test flights.

    I hate to promote any regulation, but perhaps a requirement of certification (if it is not already) in type should be required previous to your first flight, if possible (obviously if you are designing/building a new design it is not, directly) but even then a similar aircraft, performance envelope wise, can be found and flown to proficiency. As a homebuilder, Just sayin'.
    As for the vid, good stuff. not AT ALL sure about your last music choice, though. REALLY, "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald"???
