Played for Rangers, Sunderland and Nottingham Forest if I remember correctly. Unfortunately liked a drink and had two liver transplants before dying aged 61.

Bit of a one off really. Best rated him and so did Eusebio. Shone brightly and all to briefly. There’s a great book on him called Slim Jim. Sadly he blew it and knew he had. Great quote “ Jim if you don’t stop drinking and smoking you’ll be dead in a year! “ ok Doc, I’ll give it a year and see how I feel”

Any chance of doing a video on Davie cooper , he was a Scottish winger who played with Glasgow rangers and was regarded as one of the best wingers Scotland has produced. Ruud Gullit said he was one of the best players he ever played against!

there are several video of Davie on here, Good duy used to visit the lads in Shotts prison and loved a small bet. Often seen in Corals main street Hamilton and always nice to chat with....so sad he went so soon RIP

MultiArkle that’s great my dad met him a few times and said he was a gentleman just wish I was around then to see the likes of cooper, mccoist, Gazza and laudrup. Being born in 2001 I’ve grown up with the likes of Ian black and Kevin Kyle to watch 😂😂 CZcams is my only chance to see glimpses of rangers legends, also yeah he was taken far to young it’s such a shame RIP 💙

Baxter played for Forest late on ,by then his legs had gone and the booze had started to take it's toll but he could still control it , pass it and scored a few good goals one I saw he pulled a hard cross out the air outside the penalty box with his right sent 2 defenders the wrong way with a hip sway and fired the ball into the top corner with his left ,done with such elegance . 1967 at wembley, Sublime!!!!.

He wasnt as good as iniesta. He ruined his career by drinking and other problems. He was a genuine world class player in the early/mid 60s who could have achieved so much more.

Do more of players from 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s
You have to do of Dennis Law. Always hear about but dont know to much.
Also Graeme Souness, real bad temper but amazing player. He was mean but know how to play.
And Ally Mccoist, striker from Glasgow Rangers

For British players of his generation (from the second world war to around 30 years after), all you usually have to do to know their position is check their shirt number. The goalkeeper was Number 1. From right to left, the full-backs (defenders in modern parlance) were 2 and 3; half-backs (deep midfield) 4, 5 and 6; and forwards (attackers, including the more advanced midfield players) 7 to 11.
