Another fun project. They are all my favorite lol. Be well.
Glad you like them Phinny :) I think I have settled on the one with the squiggle mark as my fav..finally LOL
So glad you finally took some time for yoyurself. You deserve it girl. Love these
Thank you so much Lori :) I really needed a break from everything.
That right there is a shel scribble. You absolutely have a style. Great work my friend. It’s nice to be creative while everybody else is sleeping.
Thank you so much 😀
I love these and I like that they are re-usung something,
Thank you Jayne :)
These are so cool......glad you rested!
Glad you like them Tina :) Thanks for watching!
Isn't it wonderful to create something very late at night/very early in the morning...(the little hours as we call it)...it's so quiet, no distraction at all! They are beautiful and I guess you had a great time, thanks Shel!
It really is more fun at that time! I did not wake up until 6 today so I did not get early hour playtime LOL But it will happen again for sure...I wake up for no reason ALOT.
Great idea to make magnets out of these coasters.
Glad you like them Rosemaree :) It was fun!
I have some of these in my stash of stuff. I may have to give this a try! Thanks for the inspiration.
Please do Angela :) And if you are in our ART Joy of Sharing art community...share what you came up with! Love to see them!
I was wondering what happened to you! Glad you took a break and came back with your batteries recharged! These are fun and inspiring!
Thanks so much Gail :)
I love this idea Shel. I love interesting fridge magnets. I think I will have to make some for Christmas presents
Great idea Heather :) If you are in our ART Joy of Sharing art community...share what you make please :)

Glad you like them Judi :) Thanks for watching!
Very cool magnets! Each one is so different. Reslly fun. I am glad you do what makes you happy.
Thanks so much Susan :)
lol, the Death Star! Love these Shel xx
I know right? It totally looked like that for awhile LOL Thanks for watching Anne :)
Super cute! By the way lots of compliments on your crazy cat mask.
Awesome! So glad everyone is enjoying the cat mask :)
You certainly do have a style! Your coaster/magnets are all wonderful! I think my favorite is the one with Journey...your pen mark makes a very circuitous journey...like life right now.
Thank you so much Marie :) I think that is my signature mark..love making that scribbly line!
Spectacular! I am recycling cereal boxes, layering to make them like chip board, while I am watching. I have cut them into circles, and am gluing holiday napkins. The end result will hopefully be cute ornaments I can slip into my Christmas cards. You of course are creating beautiful art. I am having fun with, glue and glitter. Your collage is always bright, beautiful, and inspiring. TFS. I did. God bless and stay safe.
Great idea to make ornaments to add to your cards! I am currently making a ton of fridge magnets from these old printed ones I had. Just really relaxing to glue scraps.
I have a LOT of small art on paper coasters. They really do make great appreciation gifts and are one of my favorite substrates, especially when I am not feeling a big project.
I really enjoyed seeing someone else creating art on them and enjoying it 😊
I totally agree! Little gems they are. I only had 4 so I will cut some from food packaging cardboard and gesso the heck out of it for making some more.
I am also using puzzle pieces.
Fun!
These are awesome, Shel.
Thank you Marti :) It was a fun playtime!
Love your work!
Thank you Norma Jean :)
Love these coasters and you collage work. Keep it coming. It's wonderful. Plus the think ans thin scribbles.
Thanks so much Wilma 😊 I love making that scribbly mark and I am sure it is my signature mark now LOL
These are great Shel, I wish I had not recycled the pile I had of paper coasters last month, oh well. Do what makes you happy, I love watching :)
Thank you Debbie :) There are plenty more out there...when the pandemic finally ends and we all go out to eat every day LOL
What a great idea!
Thank you Marilyn :)
I just wanted to say I love these. And I truly wish you could do a zoom class to help us with our gel printing because I just don’t get the value changes I see you create. Thanks
Thank you Nell :) A class would be good if I could figure out all the logistics.
@@ShelCPaperOcotilloStudio I understand. I enjoy the longer lives so that I am not so comparatively judgmental with how long it actually takes, all things considered. Thanks
I think I may suggest to Peg we do gel printing all December since it seems to be all we want to do lately LOL So that would be real time instruction.
@@ShelCPaperOcotilloStudio anything to help our happy place would be valuable. Thanks so much for sharing
Wonderful magnets Shel! Thanks for sharing! :)
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching :)
These are delicious!
Glad you like them Rhonda :)
Wonderful idea. I have some of these as well, and was wondering what to do with them. Thanks! You could sell them as well.
Have fun making some! If you are in our art community on Facebook..would love to see what you made. I can barely do artwork right now LOL..no way I can manage manufacturing stuff for sale. But they would be great little sellers I am sure.
Love this idea! Thank you for sharing! Glad you were able to take a break. Breaks are important for our mental, physical, and spiritual health.
Thank you Mary Ellen :) Yes, I am burned out from all the nasty stuff in the world and really needed a break from reality LOL
So pretty❣️nice way to recycle💖💖💖💖💖
Thank you so much Sue 😊 I had only 4 coasters..so I think I will use some packaging cardboard and my circle cutter to make some more for little gifties. It was fun!
@@ShelCPaperOcotilloStudio short and fun! Nice way to start enjoying 💖
Gosh these are cool!
Thank you very much :)
These are so cool I love them all tfs Shel...Kia Kaha
Thanks so much Maggie :) They were super fun to do!
These magnets are wonderful - love this idea.
Thanks so much Karol 😊 Give it a go!
Love these Shel, if I’m ever able to get to a pub or restaurant again I might nab a few lol 😝 xxx💕
If you have a circle die, you can make your own.
Totally true :) I only had the four coasters to upcycle but I think I want to make more so I will upcycle some tag board from thrown away food boxes instead with my circle die.
Thank you Susie :) I totally wish I was at a pub right now! However, I can upcycle some food packaging cardboard with a circle cutter and do the same thing...which I plan to do as 4 was not enough for all my little gifties this year.
@@ShelCPaperOcotilloStudio I didn’t even think of that! My brain seems to be out right now lol xxx💕
@@AtSusiesCottage All of our brains are on vacation I think. Only way to cope with being cooped up inside LOL
I have been experimenting with Abstract art as well. You should check out Imperfect Paintings on CZcams. Albert from the Netherlands is like the Bob Ross of Abstract. He breaks it down and makes it fun. He thinks in a different way and it really gets the creative juices flowing. His abstract challenges and exercises could easily translate to your awesome paper collage.
Thank you for your recommendation! I will check him out :)
Great magnets! What tool are you using to stencil? It looks like those new make-up blending brushes... If so, how do you clean the paint out of them?
Thank you Tasha :) Yes, I call those the best stenciling brushes. They are the 'toothbrush' style make up brushes. I wash them just like any other paintbrush. Throw them in water to keep the paint from drying and then just clean them with dish soap and water when I am done with my session.
@@ShelCPaperOcotilloStudio OMG! I got some of these at the Dollar Tree and they are a game changer! Thank you so much for turning me on to these!
