No, theyre not coming out. Weve unfortunately shut down the project due to difficulties getting quality parts. The Ernie Ball Stereo 25k Expression pedal and the Boss FV500L will both work fine.

@Japsem G-System uses the standard midi protocol so it can can control other effects, but to be dead sure please read the manuals and/or contact our support.

Yes the G System has a lot of options and it takes a while to understand and utilize everything. Sorry to hear that it didn't update correctly right away. The latest software is 4.02. Your systems current software is displayed once you connect power.

@Jeepjones85 The Nova has just been updated with new presets, they can be downloaded from our website. - I don't think that the mentioned effect is part of it though, but you might be able to achieve something like it with one of the delays in the Nova..
yes, so does the VPD1 (wich is a very good pedal btw, and i demo it on my videos) but a built-in nova drive inside the G-system would be the ultimate machine.
Many of us don’t want to pay for a nova drive on top of the expensive G-system because we DO NOT WANT the Nova drive. Smart of TC to separate them.
Furthermore, having the benefit of 13 years of hindsight, the G-System is still a very good high quality way to hook up high quality analog pedals to high quality amps, without modeling. Can’t say the same for the Nova drive.

You couldn’t spend $30 on an overdrive pedal?
@chooch187 It does have it's negatives. Latency issues with several active effects. Also the volume "pedal" if you use an expression pedal is not smooth. You can hear the increments. No wonder Peter Thorn uses an ernie ball volume pedal in addition. But the wah in it does not have the "increments". Wah is good. Also it does not have an analog delay type which is very popular in most effect processors. Other things is that you cannot change the placement of the effects and volume pedal.

the effects and new presets are available by using the 4.02 upgrade, but this new circuitry seems to be a must! I was planning to buy a G system the day after tomorrow, but now I think perhaps not, since it will be colouring the tone of my rig, which is fabulous! I did'nt know the G system (silver) had tone colouring issues.
Damn, I have the money and everything!

This guy is cool. He always gives good demos. Now, if only TC could make this unit weigh less. Racked up in a case it is VERY heavy with other pedals and the power and all that.

@Alvarorsc12 I have the red version. I bet this summer NAMM they are going to put the effects section of the G-major II in a new version of the G-system.
already got that ;-) The chorus is too overwelming(in overdrive/distortion) in the g-system, so I got a Boss CH-1 (the old analog version, pre oct' 2001), fits better. But enough of the rant. I still LOVE the unit! The rest is very very good!! It's a heavy unit made to last, not like the light cheapo plastic effects processors out there. The delays and reverb are good. I love the verstitilty of the g-system; loops, effects, midi, etc etc. And it is RED!!! cool!

Difficult to say how long the G-System has been on a shelve in the store.

@mitrismaster02 It does do harmonies of choice. It took me a long time to figure out how to program the harmonies, a keyboard player explained to me how!! Hahaha! You can program 2 voices incrementally, so it sounds out of tune. I didn't understand how each incremental step was programmed. Easier to see than to understand. It tracks real well, I've used it for pentatonic harmonies, scalar, and for the solo in Owner Of A Lonely Heart (5th and octave up).

awesomejohnnet Everything about the G system sounds good except the actual sound... sounds a big rinky dink, maybe its the mike they are using all the vids sound thin.. after a good listen I see that the unit has potential but it needs a bit more R+D..
a few quick questions, i have an Orange and a Hiwatt amp... can i use the G-system as a multi effects and a line-selecter all in one?
like, for instance, use the left output for the orange and the right output for the hiwatt?
can i use different effects over the right and left channel?

Can someone answer if the Overdrive insert loops send signal to the Input before the amps preamp and the rest of the G system effects are isolated to the effects loop before the power stage

at 4:05 he says "I programmed the exp pedal as toggle switch" to go the leslie speed ramp thing. How do you program it that way?
I only know how to assign an exp pedal to control speed but i don't get anywhere close to how it sounds on the video? mine goes without "time delay" speeds up/slows down as my foot moves..

@Tcelectronic That Doppler effect is there an upgrade for the tc nova where I can get that ?
I think a doubler should have always have different delay times and a slight chorus, so the doubles are just slightly out of time and undetectably out of tune

What is “the” difference? I suppose there are many. You should do your own research. But I will give you some helps. They are made by different companies.

Personally, I just can't see the logic of giving up a pedal like my GT-100 for this TC. My GT has all the bells and whistles, all the effects you can use, including hi-gain amp modulations and acoustic effects, and all the nice added EQ and mic features.... So why would I pay more to get less? My GT is set up as a 4 cable method and I am able to set my pedal to strictly use the GT's sound engine and then set other patterns to strictly use my amp's direct sound. IMO, the TC is over-priced for what it is. This pedal shouldn't cost more than my GT-100...but more power to anyone who likes it. ...just not enough for me to pay more for less and switch.
+Heu T Yeah I understand your question, since I too use a hybrid setup, with an HD 500 and od/distortion/boost in the loop. However, you can get only 1 loop for any given guitar processor. Whereas G System gives you 4 loops to connect ur analog pedals and stuff. So you can have, for example, four DIFFERENT od sounds at the flick of a switch. Even if you were to use a separate switching system like gigrig2 or something, u would still need to have separate pedals for each effect/od/drive/boost...and the expense would roughly be equal to, or even more than, a G System.
I have not played through the G System, but that is what I understand after watching countless demos and reviews.
