There is a great series of James boozing through the UK with another posh talking bloke, it's pretty fun to watch.

@@gewglesux Population wise, Canada is the size of California with less GDP (1 Trillion less) and much bigger in size. So getting something import is harder and cost a lot more.
If you live near the border, it might be easy to find someone who is willing to have it shipped to their house in the USA and then just drive it back over to Canada and pay duty on it.
And again May finds a way to reference CHEESE
In all seriousness, I ordered a bottle of "Ramstud" when it first was announced and it was absolutely one of the finest spirits I've ever enjoyed. Highly recommend
Ordered mine from his website this week. I can wait to unscramble the name when it arrives and have it read “Mustard “ as it should. Thank you for including all the needed letters!

I was fortunate to obtain a bottle by mail. The first thing I noticed was the bottle had a slightly green hue, reminiscent of the old telephone line insulators of the seventies.
After opening the bottle, I poured a couple of ounces into an old pewter jigger we had saved from a trip to the DaVinci museum in Ambois. To my surprise the mustard lingered for ages, much like a ballpark hotdog on a warm summer day, constantly sharp on the burp.
Fantastic, transcendant.

Try your gin in a necromancer..
25ml absinthe, 25ml lillet, 25ml st Germaine, 25ml lemon juice, 5ml of gin
Shake and pour into a chilled coupé with a discard lemon garnish

Watching this while drinking my pint cans of Kronenbourg on Saturday afternoon. I feel like such a peasant.😂 definitely going to buy some gin from James as presents for my friends and family. I'm not a gin drinker, but something made by Captian Slow and Co has to be sampled, heavily. Maybe while playing chess or my preferred game Go! Hey James if you read this do a drinking session with Hammond and yourself playing Go! I'm sure you know about it.. The oldest game played to this day.

My wife stayed at The Royal Oak for a few nights whilst on holiday in the 🇬🇧 last year. Well, it was supposed to be just the one night, but the food, the rooms, the staff, all excellent! So one became more.
And the village is ruddy nice to, lovely butcher not far away. Highly recommended.
Oh! Yes, we drove back to 🇸🇪 with more than one bottle of gin in the boot. 😘

Dear James, Just an FYI, its the outside of the lemon twist that has the oils. Twist the lemon skin over the glass, then rub the outside on the rim of the glass. Cheers👍

My understanding of the Churchill martini was to drink Gin and look at the bottle of vermouth.

Unfortunately being in Ontario, Canada I had to go through a winery out west to get a bottle of the normal asian parsnip, which was amazing by the way. Unfortunately, they're still holding on to the bottle my gf ordered with no shipping in sight. Chances are we're not going to get the American Mustard/Ramstud here. Shame really.
Smart you sourced it through a Winery and didn't have to pay the LCBO piper and get a case!

I normally don't fall for advertising. Nor did I this time. However, I did wisely and completely individually order a bottle of the ramstud.
I know no one asked, but if you realised why they used Cocchi Americano instead of Kina Lillet, is because Kina Lillet has been discontinued, despite it being an important ingredient in the Vesper. Hence, Cocchi Americano as a substitute

Funny how I went into a bottle shop here in Australia and spending 30 mins trying to find James May’s Gin forgetting to realise you have to order a bottle online and that Australian liquor stores don’t sell any… 😂😂🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
If you do end up ordering it online, be prepared to pay a large import tax on it...
