What no one is talking about which was hilarious, is how CC used Thomas big frame to knock down Carrington. Sure Thomas got that shoulder block on CC jaw but late in the 3rd Carrington was trailing CC & CC used Thomas as a screen. Carrington laid in the ground for a good while. At 1st I thought she was faking it, but then it looked like she took a shot to the gut. honestly as a father to women in that young age bracket of 22-25, I get it. Love is so important. But as a father, i'd also say to Nalyssa that she is legit putting the Fever in a tight spot as it gets closer to the playoffs. TLDR; it's hard being young. There are some that have turned their season around or won some pressure games to go a long way in a tournament, but not one that has gone from the absolute worst for their first 8 or so games to a team that has a 50-50 chance of beating every top team that they play. It's kind of a dream season.
Starting like 1-8 and now look at them. Playing very good, CC has elevated that whole team, CC draws so much attention. And rest of Fever is stepping up.

As far as the Fever's record and how they're playing now, it took them the first 10 games or so to learn how to play with Clark work around her better. Once they got out of their own way and started to let her cook and work off her, taking advantage of her passing, vision and the way she attracts so much defence, they started to really work as a team. They are still objectively bad without Clark, but she's made the team as a whole a LOT better and given them opportunities to play better. There are some great players on that team, don't get me wrong. But they weren't performing to their ability in a team setting and weren't getting their jobs done properly as a result. It's almost like she's taken a team of individuals and made them rally together just by being the insane player she is.

Smith’s effort was really good yesterday. One of her turnovers what on that steal where she came down on Mitchell and lost the ball for a layup. A couple of her fouls were phantom fouls. Things look different if you take those type of plays away.
I think she was fine, 10 & 6 with 4-7 from the field and good energy.
Fine?? They need to start Temi not Smith. Turnovers, offensive fouls, missed layups, losing the ball, etc. It’s ok but she shouldn’t be starting. She seems distracted.
@@GoGetterNeverQuitter Nothing wrong with starting Temi but I like her energy coming off the bench now that Hull looks to have that starting role. Temi played the clutch minutes which is more important than who starts. I just really see it as a game by game decision.
You can’t afford to lose Smith for the season, they aren’t deep enough for that. Somehow you gotta find a way to get her playing like she was during her better stretch.
