You'd need to at least have done something that would allow your to have the finger strength and resilience needed to get that. Also, most people can't do a pull up or anything of the like, so to be 50 and have that strength, there is a high chance he does some form of calisthenics or rock climbing.

It's a very common thing to do if you play basketball. I'm way stronger now and absolutely awful at rock climbing and I promise you I could do 10 pullups holding the net. It's really not that impressive. And most Americans are obese and sit on their butt all day sadly. That doesn't mean it's hard.
