Brings ya back to Mile 5 when you thought you were done running but one of these songs is sung and suddenly, you could run until your dead
You ain’t kidding, either. With the SgtMajor’s encouragement, we’d run all day. Crazy how it felt, just knowing how much they believed in us.
They’d just run my BN and your heart would break. You’d wanna cry. Good times. I wasn’t an Airborne just OCS 35D but I loved being attached to Combat Arms. Rangers are the most professional soldiers.
And then you get heat stroke with that helmet on... lol. And your socks are dripping wet.
Just lost dad this week. He was great man who is gone too soon. He took care of us kids and we always had someone to call if we were in trouble. He'd be right there, no questions asked..., he was an Airborne Ranger in the 80's for the 2nd Ranger Battlion. He always would suddenly yell "I wanna be an Airborne Ranger!" Awww dad I miss you so much. Fly high airborne. I joined for that man. He was so proud. True patriot. Love you dad
Sorry for your loss man may he rest in peace
Rest easy
Got his Silver Wings and jump boots. Hoorah Patriot!
God bless your father.
Same with my dad. Miss him every day, many years later. All we can do is honor their memory by living right. HOOAHHH!!!
I was 22 years old when i deployed with the Rangers as an augmentee 2LT to the S2 shop. We loaded on planes in the middle of the night and nobody knew where we were going, but we were not afraid. We ended up landing in Bosnia and started looking for Serbian war criminals. Good times. I wish I could go back to then. ... I was just a better person then.
All The Way!!!
You are still a good person. Those past experiences are the foundation of a good person. RLTW!
Never Quit
That infectious energy huh? Just being with a group of like minded individuals that push each other and fuel off of each other’s energy. Iron sharpening iron.

While everyone else around me is listening to hip hop rap or whatever, I’m listening to Ranger running cadence, it has always been my favorite! Great motivator! Nothing beats Ranger run!
All other music is for biking or driving, leave the cadences for us runners
I've been out for 1/2 a lifetime, the cadence calls haven't changed.
I love Ranger running. Cadence is great exercise!

So I'll admit me and my dad may not see eye to eye a heck. Sometimes we've straight buttheads and not just typical father son stuff. No, I mean on some things we just fundamental disagree on but I will say this. I am proud of my father who was an army ranger 173rd airborne. I am proud to he the son of a ranger
Same here man. Reading that comment made me so happy cause I had the same relationship with my dad. But no matter what if I called his phone he'd be right there for me. Miss him alot

The story of the Rangers in Korea is awesome. They were jumping in small teams behind enemy lines with ROK soldiers. I suggest people read about it.

Anybody knows about the web page with letters
It's double time cadence.
Rangers don't sing cadence when running. We were too busy running.
These fantastic cadences bring back great memories, but whoever added the drumbeat ruined the rape. Ugh.
What the hell are the words that he’s saying at 8:46??
Update: I figured it out he said “Colonel Darby was mighty brave!”
…took me a lot of replays to figure that one out
they took out the bible story out of the song.
I got kicked out two years in 82nd Airborne party too much they don't like that😂
Original please
😂
In Jesus name I am my Father's son amen 🙏🫅🕜💯😇
Tennis shoes and shorts huh ? We did that in fatigues and combat boots "all day long " ! Ruining My Army.
Todays ranger would wash you guys in your prime too ez. Todays army is smarter, stronger, and more discipline than y'all ever were.
Oh yes, you "New" rangers are great, double timing around the parade field in your short shorts and Nikes. Let's put you in some triple canopy jungle in Monsoon season - then "explode" half of you and then see how many of you gurls go get on the bus to home !
@@kellykeegan2608modern day ranger is definitely a fucking force to be reckon with
Younger generation, has more problems with leg and ankle injuries in boot camp. Teenagers are on their devices, parents pick em up from school. When I was child, we bicycled, climbed fence, playing ball in street. My local recruiter has exercise classes for kids before going to boot camp to help get them ready.
Wokism destroyed all tradition it is up to the individual and whichever unit he is assigned to leave the women and rest behind , get the job done
$1 says rangers dont sing cadence
You’d be right
I concur, A Co 2/75 Badmuther.
