Good kit. I agree with going through the first aid kit. I would also loose the case the socket set is in. Blow mold takes a ton of space. Put your sockets on rails and get another tool roll.
I am putting my spare on the roof of my RC. Cut a tire last fall. We were 30 miles of WV trails from the truck. Took all the plugs we had but limped her to the hauler.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the feedback 👌🤙
I’m driving alongside you on the freeway right now and I saw your tag, your new car looks nice, keep it up boss
Thanks man i appreciate it!
Great video. You are way more prepared than I am. And, you gave me some ideas of what I need to get. Especially the tow strap
👍👍👍
Great video. It looks like you have a pretty good handle on the tools and items you need for your style of riding. I totally agree with your thought about keeping the weight down low.
Thanks bud. We Have recently started using the boxo tool roll, which has been a good quick carry on option. Ez grab and go
Better to be prepared than to be sorry bro.. good detailed video on the tools u carry with you!!
Yes sir.. thanks g
Great tips, I like you idea on the location of the fire extinguisher.
🤜🤛🤙
Great job ! Really can’t think of anything else. Maybe a awesome
Tire patch kit 🤷♂️not just a plug kit. Since we play in Glamis a lot no spare either 👍🏻
Yea i started carrying a tire sidewall slug as well
Great video, reminded me of a few more things to grab. I did notice the belt replacement tool you said was made by AIS but it's really STV's tool you just read it upside down haha! appreciate the videos nonetheless!
Hahaha. I didn't notice that. Nice catch👍
Great setup. Out here in the eastern mountains we carry sidewall Tire Slug. they work great for side walls.
Looks like a great product, going to have to add that to my machine. thanks
@@GLifeUTV it has save me a few times out of the trails. Great investment.
I bet. Im picking one up
Hey man i was at a stop light right next to the freeway in chino. You have a sick dually. Keep up the good work man.
Thats my buddies but thank you bro, appreciate it. We havea few videos on that truck. Its awesome
@@GLifeUTV oh that's cool that you got your buddies promoting your channel too. I'll check those videos out man.
I ordered those underneath the seat prp bags because I thought it it was a great idea for storage but how do you make it fit with the brake line on the way? I tried to fit as less tools as i could and it still doesn’t fit under or over the brake line. Whats the trick?
Great stuff bro! The one thing I would definitely suggest is to pull out that first aid kid, open it up and go over it with your lady.
You never know what could happen and taking 10 minutes to go over your emergency equipment could make the difference.
Ur right, atleast knowing exactly where everything is at in the kit, instead of just scrambling to figured it out in a real situation.. 👍👍 thanks for watching bro🤟
@@GLifeUTV Exactly my man. I'm going to be heading down your way in the next month or so to do some riding, I'll hit you up
@@ROZAY305BOSS 🤟🤟🤟
Sorry to be offtopic but does any of you know a trick to log back into an Instagram account..?
I stupidly lost the login password. I love any assistance you can give me!
@Jett Briar Instablaster =)
Idk if anyone told you or you might already have it but throw a quick release pin kit on the cover for your belt very helpful in the field and much quicker change....it's cool it helps a little there 19$ on eBay
Ive seen them, and installed them on other machines.... I much rather use the bolts.
Man, I liked the idea of the under seat bags, but they're currently sold out and they're not waterproof. I think I'll buy 2 dry bags (used for kayaking) and store them under the seats. We do river crossings / water crossings all the time. And my wife refuses to get the bottom door covers to prevent water from coming in. Thanks again for the video.
Yea the bags work but if they were waterproof would be way better👌
Have a link to those dry bags?
Just any blowjob dry bags should work. I have a fancy one from Hoodoo. They make badass kayaks
Thank you for sharing. This is very important 😊😊😊
I always carry a can of starting fluid/ether. I only carry it to set a bead but you can also use your ratchet strap.
great recommendation
What kind of brackets did you use to attach the fire extinguisher to the cross bar?
Its was the generic bracket that came with the extinguisher
Hey bro, you should do an updated version of this video. Didnt you say you're using the Milwaukee box now? I'm interested to see how that fits and how functional it is.
Great idea.. May very will do that 👌
Some fuses would be help full too.
Your right adding to the list
Re watched. Great coverage and this is somewhat what I use as well. Just curious since this video what have you changed and what do you carry now since this video? Maybe a video 🤷🏻♂️
Carrying the boxo tool roll alot more. Just cuz its so easy to grab
I have a two seater. You said you carry those bags in back seat but I assume they will still work on front. Seems right. U fill up bag before or put bag in car and then fill it up. Again looks tight below seat.
It is a tight fit ..depends on whats going in. Full packed bag. Yes no way it will slide in
What about a hub nut removal socket. I’m pretty sure it’s 21 mm
Do you have a link to the bags ? I was looking for them last night. Couldn’t find those
Looks like they are sold out... www.prpseats.com/product/can-am-x3-under-seat-bag/
@@GLifeUTV I’ll keep an eye on them. Thanks for the reply
You run those PRP bags just loose under the seat vs bolting them in?
Yea they are loos under seats
They are shoved in under there. And dont come easy at all
@@GLifeUTV excellent thank you. Awesome video btw!
I got a big puncture and I was kind of far away from camp with no spare. I made it back but it was just frustrating. Next day I bought spare tire a impact and a co2 jack
The c02 jack does look tempting and its pretty compact. Did u have plug kit?
FrankGLife no after I got to camp we took the tire off took it to a nearby shop and the puncture was so big that they couldn’t patch it so they put like 10 plugs but air was still coming out.
Dammm.. hah. Ten plugs,😅
FrankGLife JAJAJJAJAJA yeah
Great video, I also carry a siphon I got it from harbor freight for $10. Never know when you or someone would need it.
thats actaully a really good idea, gonna look into one. nice
Jus get you a tube take light roll up not much room jus ideal
I run a boxo tool roll now
I got you on the spare homie lol
Thats my dawg
What center bag is that need a jumper
Brp can am center bag
While riding in Moab, my wife crashed her motorcycle and injured her leg pretty badly. If I wasn't prepared with some of these items, she would have been in way worse shape. You can never be too prepared cause shit can go sideways anytime. Thanks for this video. There's a few things you pointed out that I need to get.
Dang brotha . Sorry to hear that. Hope she recovers soon. Merry Christmas to u and urs
@@GLifeUTV I appreciate that. She's good now. Merry Christmas to you too.
i like the fire ex where u got it ur the first one ive seen do that
Thanks, it just made sense. My buddy has his on the roll cage on the rear tube.. i told him if that thing catches fire, u gonna burn ur hands just grabbing the fire extinguisher.
@@GLifeUTV so true
I didn't see it. Where does he keep it?
@@moez1774 on floor on drivers side so can reach by hand not having to leave drivers seat
@@frankcott6650 oh yea, that is a great idea
First Aid Kit
A second fire extinguisher in the back or on the passenger side.
An external tire patch kit to complement your plug kit.
Does the spare have to be 32"? Couldn't you get away with a lighter weight 29"? No one cares what your ride looks like limping back to camp, they just care about getting back to camp.
With all the tools you have, you could take a tire apart, patch it from the inside, put it back together, and air it up. (Just another option... Your two under seat kit bags are excellent and I'm going to be copying a lot of what you're doing there!)
Installing a 29 even for a short ride back. will cause the diff to bind. especially the rear. it would skip alot. probably could get away with it tho. interior patch is a great idea bro. so is an extra fire extinguisher. thanks for watching 👍
@@GLifeUTV 2 wheel drive & move a good tire to the back if it was the back that got a flat.
Certainly and thanks for sharing your videos / very helpful comments. I learn a lot when people take the time to explain.
What is the lightest weight tire and rim that you could use on the front and still be a reliable spare tire? (One step up from a "donut" but not massive / not heavy... Could even be a thinner width tire.
Also regarding that second extinguisher: you'll never regret having more capacity ... You'll only regret not having it if and when the time comes.
