- Kylie sings "Your Disco Needs You" during the encore of her first ever Toronto gig @ Air Canada Centre (ACC), on October 9 2009., as part of her "For You, For Me" Tour.
It was the only time the song was performed with band and backing track in the tour. A truly unique moment!
You could hear all the French speakers cheer during that bridge !
Kylie nailed this beautifully. She is definitely not the singing budgerigar that some of her compatriots described her when she started out in the '80's. No one I have ever seen can perform like her. I'm lucky to exist at this time in modern popular history coinciding with the Impossible Princess.
The ones who labelled her "singing budgie" were dumb and jealous journalists who don't have brains

I was at this show because my mum wanted to go! lol. Prior to the show I was like "meh, it'll be ok". It was amazing. I was surprised to hear just how well she sings live. That opera bit... wow! If she comes back... I'm going!

Well she's been doing this for a very long time. Her first concerts were in 1989. She did a sold out show in Tokyo (yep, the Japanese were the first to go under the Kylie Spell ). 40,000 at that show. She performed at the closing ceremony of the Sydney Olympics, to an audience of 2 BILLION people. She is very accomplished at her job.
She is always incredible live, she does not lip sync ever and she nails every song, every time!! She is one of only a few performers who gives feel-good, happy vibe concerts

The opera note kylie does is phenonimal! Love how every video I see of hers, everyone is so happy, dancing the night away and loving and loving in the moment! Not a lot of singers can do that so amazing to an audience. She really does put a smile on you're face, adore her x 🙌🤗

@leinadsegal not to this extent. Her voice can hit those high notes but she's not trained to sing that high (which is why it's awesome when she does it). The "Confide in Me" version of her north american tour has some big notes throughout and towards the end
