It's not super jumpy, this is more of a horror story, a twisty dark tale, well written, great characters and voice acting, enjoy. This is part 1 of my full playthrough of new horror game The Medium. I like the whole concept of Marianne's "gift". To be able to look past the disturbing carnage and see the human that needed help was amazing. Showing tender playfulness to Sadness made me appreciate what the devs did in this game.
sometimes i forget that i am watching a recording, and you'll ask a question, and i automatically stop what i'm doing to go answer, just to realize it's a youtube video.
aside from that, i enjoyed this journey and the entire atmosphere of this game. great stuff!

The cutscenes, the story, the SOUNDTRACK! Brilliant. Also the fact that the puzzles weren’t tedious apart from 1 or 2 was impressive. They’ve really outdone themselves with this game 👏🏻

Ever since I started taking medication, I started to remember my dreams and they are vivid; still are after 4yrs of therapy as well. It’s been ironically therapeutic to understand what stressors I’ve buried throughout my life and learning how to cope.

I’d definitely choose shapeshifting as my power. It would help with my self consciousness with my body. Also becoming an animal would be fun too. Not to mention pranks.
I’d also like the ability to learn new skills with ease. I wanna do so many things and get invested in so many new hobbies, but I get overwhelmed because I don’t know where to start. Like I want to be a good game designer or something, but I don’t know how to code or even how to operate a computer. So just automatically being able to be good at coding would be cool. I don’t have to make the objectively best games, just knowing what to do in terms of creating would be cool. All the technical stuff

The inability to picture something in your head is called aphantasia. I only know the name of it because that's how my brain is. When you say "picture a red apple," I don't see a fuzzy red shape. I see nothing but a vast, black canvas. I know the red apple is under it, and I know what it looks like, I just can't see it in my mind's eye. The fact anyone can see something, visualize something, in their mind is astounding to me much in the same way that me not being able to do so is hard to believe for others.
I recently found your videos from the video you did with Children of Silentown (amazing story, that is).
If I had to choose between being a medium and seeing the future, I'd go medium all the way. In a lot of cases, seeing the future often comes with the entire "see it, but can't change it" setup. Which would be horrible. Can you image seeing something horrible happen to someone and being unable to do anything about it? At least with ghosts, they're already dead. As a medium, those you can help.
Superpowers? Elemental manipulation. You could go a lot of different routes with that kind of power, defensive or offensive. Also, if it's really hot or really cold, there's the option to warm up an area or cool it down. Which is always something I would like to do, especially in summer or in the winter. A well-rounded ability. Outside of that, being able to shapeshift into animals would be cool.
I want to be there for the streams, but I need to know where you stream and how to be notified so I can watch live...

Ah… it made me laugh so hard when during the chase at 2:01:35 that thing said “don’t leave me here… alone, naked…” 😂 After hearing this I was like “oh, it makes perfect sense now, I know why did everyone leave that place”
I mean, I’d leave, too, if I knew that there was lonely naked creepy dude lurking in the darkness.
UPD: I felt the urge to talk about dreams when you discussed it. I do all sorts of activities in my dreams, including talking to others, reading, writing, eating, drinking, driving… everything. I thought everyone can, but after I talked about it with some of my friends I found out that people dream differently. Some of them can’t even remember having cohesive dreams, like they don’t have dreams with plot. I cannot imagine such thing… My dreams are very vivid and lifelike, though sometimes that life is very different from our reality. I even can sleep in my dreams and have dreams there. Yes, I am that person who dreams about sleeping and having dreams 😅 I know it sounds crazy, but that’s how my brain works, I guess. I am also able to feel the pain in my dreams, I should admit that my mind is very good at it. Surely, the most realistic is kind of pain which is well-known to me, such as burns and cuts. The others I think I just imagine to be like this or like that, but they’re still quite unpleasant. I can also smell and taste things in my dreams. I mean, if I dream about eating something, it’s not tasteless.
The soundtrack sounds like Interstellar. I like it!
The soundtrack is honestly so good, it gets better and better, some of the pieces in the second half are just UGH SO GOOOOD

I have conversations in dreams. Never read though but I can't tell if I can or cant. It just never happened that I had to read.
Its Poland... Krakow not 100% accurate but a lot... I live in uk for few years now and wasn't in Poland for a while - when we done the gameplay with my british friend we had lots of fun (me at him for trying to pronounce polish names - he was doing great btw, and he at me as I was so excited for seeing so many familiar things... The way flat is designed the cups holder or even street lanters... Crazy expirience 😅
I'm disappointed that the story is in Poland and they couldn't even use Polish accents in the voice actors.

Just in the first few minutes of this, and was trying to figure out who she reminded me of. A young Debra Winger. So glad it came to me because that would have made me crazy.
I read horror instead of watch it, since it's easy to put a book down when I get scared ... on a scale between no jump scares to never being able to watch any of your frightening videos, how bad is it?? Might need to hold you to a rating system from here on out. 😂

this game is set in poland, solidarity movement was a workers movement led by lech valesa, so russia sent tanks into poland sometime in late 70ties or early 80 ties to shut the protest down. whole vibe is like post communistic city and state. as soon as i saw bagades, solidarity movement and saw this communistic rugs and carpets all over the place i knew it... poland, unbtil solidarity mentioned in game i was pretty sure it is some ex comunistic country where game is set. .. we had same carpets and rugs in former yugoslavia, we call them communistic carpets coz everyone in comunistic states had them lol... when i played this game i dont know why, but it felt so familiar, whole game set, house, wardrobes, streets, statues...

I really dig watching these play through vids but, I have to say, man, your humor starts to fall off as the video goes on, and sometimes it's outright atrocious!
Honestly until the other guy came the game was so boring and so lame which was like 4 hours. Also, Sadness? Really? That's what they named her? Sigh
